Somaliland Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture (SCoCIA) is an independent entity operated by the business community of Somaliland. Its role is to forge new bonds of commercial cooperation and opportunities between Somaliland and the rest of the world. [1] The current chairman of the chamber is Jamal Aydid Ibrahim. [2] The current general secratry of the chamber is Ibrahim Ismail Elmi.

Somaliland, officially the Republic of Somaliland, is a self-declared country in the Horn of Africa, internationally considered to be part of Somalia. The Isaaq is a Somali clan. It is one of the major Somali clans in the Horn of Africa, with a large and densely populated traditional territory.

Hargeisa Airport

Egal International Airport, is an airport in Hargeisa, the capital of Somaliland, named after Somaliland's second president Muhammad Haji Ibrahim Egal, the airport underwent major renovations in 2012–2013. In 2002 the airport handled 56,000 passengers & 2,300 tons of cargo on a total of 1,750 landings.

Khatumo State

Khatumo State, officially the Khatumo State of Somalia, was a proto-state in eastern Somaliland. Centred on the Sool, Sanaag and Cayn or SSC provinces, its leaders declared the territory an autonomous state in 2012.

Somaliland national football team

The Somaliland national football team is the football team that represents Somaliland, a self-declared republic that is internationally recognized as a de facto state. Although Somaliland is a de facto state, it has not yet received international de jure recognition. Somaliland is not a member of FIFA and CAF; it is, instead, an associate member of ConIFA, an association established in 2014 of teams from dependencies, unrecognised states, minorities, stateless peoples and regions that are not affiliated with FIFA.

Muse Bihi Abdi 5th president of Somaliland

Musa Bihi Abdi is a Somaliland politician and former military officer who has been President of Somaliland since December 2017. During the 1970s, he served as a pilot in the Somali Air Force under the Siad Barre administration. In 2010, Bihi was appointed the Chairman of the ruling Kulmiye in the self-declared Republic of Somaliland. In November 2015, Bihi was selected as the party's Presidential Candidate at the 5th annual central committee convention.

Ministry of Justice (Somaliland)

The Ministry of Justice of the Republic Somaliland administers the court system and has the authority to hire court personnel, allocate funds, and train, discipline or dismiss judicial officers. According to Articles 7 and 38 of the Organisation of the Judiciary Law, the ministry even compiles a panel of assessors on an annual basis for the regional courts. The Defence Minister exercises day-to-day administrative and operational authority over the armed forces. The current Minister of Defence is Abdiqani Mohamoud Aateye.

In particular, it concerns itself with taxation, financial legislation, financial institutions and capital markets. it's also responsible for planning and carrying out the government policy on public finance and budget and it applies and manages the regional and local financing systems and the provision of information on the economic-financial activity of the different public administrations.The current minister is Dr. Saad Ali Shire.

The work of the Ministry of Education and Science of Somaliland is governed by the Constitution of the Republic of Somaliland, National Education Act, National Constitutional Laws, and Decrees by the President of the Republic of Somaliland. The Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Somaliland worked in cooperation with other national executive bodies, executive bodies of the subjects of the Republic of Somaliland, local authorities, public associations and other institutions. The current minister is Ahmed Mohamed Diriye.

Dr. Saad Ali Shire Naleye is British-Somali politician, agronomist and economist, who is currently serving as the Minister of Finance of Somaliland. Shire formerly served as the Foreign Minister of Somaliland. He is also served as the Minister of Planning and National Development of Somaliland. He is a founder member of many academic institutions and professional associations including The University of Hargeisa, the University of Burao, Somaliand Society of Agriculture, Somaliland Economics Association, Somaliland Statistics Association, and Somaliland Society of UK.
