The Somerset Cricket Board (SCB) is the governing body for all recreational cricket in the historic county of Somerset, and was established in 1994 under its first Cricket Development Officer Andrew Moulding. Following a restructuring in January 2010, the SCB now operates as a limited company. The current SCB Chairman is Andy Curtis, and the Cricket Development Manager is Andy Fairbairn.

The Somerset Cricket Board competed in the MCCA Knockout Trophy between 1998 and 2002. [1] They have appeared in five List A matches, making two NatWest Trophy and three Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy appearances. [2]

The 2002 English cricket season was the 103rd in which the County Championship had been an official competition. Surrey were crowned champions but 2001 county champions Yorkshire were relegated. Yorkshire did, however, win the C&G Trophy. India and Sri Lanka toured England to compete in a Test series with England. England drew with India 1-1 and beat Sri Lanka 2-0.

North Perrott Cricket Club Ground is a former List A cricket ground located in North Perrott, Somerset. It hosted a single Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy match in 2001 between Somerset Cricket Board and Wales Minor Counties. The ground has also been used by Somerset County Cricket Club and Board for numerous other matches. It has also hosted the Somerset women's cricket team occasionally since 2005. The ground is home to North Perrott Cricket Club, and has been since its creation in 1946.

Courages Sports Ground was a sports and cricket ground in Coley Park suburb of the town of Reading, Berkshire, England. The ground belonged to the Courage Brewery in the town, and was principally provided for the sport and recreation of the brewery staff. It was located south of Berkeley Avenue, which is a part of the A4 road, and was bordered to the west by the Reading to Taunton railway and to the north, south and east by housing.

Gorway Ground is a cricket ground in Walsall, Staffordshire. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1889, when Walsall Cricket Club played Wednesbury. The first Minor Counties Championship match was held at the ground in 1912 and saw Staffordshire played Durham. Staffordshire used the ground during a number of periods in the 20th century, using the ground for home matches up to 2007. During this time, the ground hosted 27 Minor Counties Championship matches and 5 MCCA Knockout Trophy matches.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">London Road, Shrewsbury</span>

London Road is a cricket ground in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1914, when Shrewsbury Cricket Club played Wem. Shropshire played their first Minor Counties Championship match at the ground against the Nottinghamshire Second XI in 1957. From 1957 to present, the ground has hosted 40 Minor Counties Championship matches. and 9 MCCA Knockout Trophy matches.

Timothy James Hemp is a Bermudian former cricketer. Hemp was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm medium pace. He was born at Hamilton, Bermuda.

Bradley Lewis Wadlan is a Welsh cricketer. Wadlan is a left-handed batsman who bowls slow left-arm orthodox. He was born in Bridgend, Glamorgan.

Andrew Graham Salter is a Welsh cricketer. Salter is a right-handed batsman who bowls right-arm off break. He was born at Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, and was educated at Milford Haven School.

Timothy Martyn Rees is a former English cricketer. Rees is a right-handed batsman who bowls right-arm off break.

Samuel Llyr Davies is a Welsh cricketer. Davies is a right-handed batsman who bowls left-arm medium pace. He was born at Neath, Glamorgan, and was educated at Ysgol Gyfun Ystalyfera School and Neath College.
