SONO (Lat.: make a sound; be heard; Esperanto: sound) is a pop/electronic band from Hamburg, Germany formed in 2000 by Lennart A. Salomon (vocals, guitar), Florian Sikorski (keyboards) and Martin Weiland (keyboards, DJ).

F. Sikorski and M. Weiland have been producing music together since 1995 and pursuing careers within the music industry. F. Sikorski is a sound engineer and runs a music studio, "Maratone Music." Madonna, Britney Spears and Kelly Clarkson, among others, have recorded and mixed there. M. Weiland is active in the commercial music business in labels and sales.
L. A. Salomon, originally a drummer, singer and guitarist for a large number of local bands around Hamburg, joined in 2001, marking the founding of SONO. He works as a composer and musician and runs, among other things, the funk and rock band project Jerobeam.
Musically, SONO could be categorized widely as pop, with strong influences from techno, house and electro. This musical diversity has provided SONO with a considerable number of fans from various music scenes.
Aside from studio projects, SONO performs in various live constellations, from DJ live sequencing sets to stage performances including a large rhythm section.

Shangri-La Dee Da is the fifth studio album by the American rock band Stone Temple Pilots. It was released on June 19, 2001, through Atlantic Records. Recording took place throughout the winter and spring of 2001 in a Malibu villa. It was the band's fifth and final album to be produced by Brendan O'Brien and their last before breaking up in 2003.

"Heaven" is a song by the Canadian singer and songwriter Bryan Adams recorded in 1983, written by Adams and Jim Vallance. It first appeared on the A Night in Heaven soundtrack album the same year and was later included on Adams' album Reckless in 1984. It was released as the third single from Reckless and reached number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 in June 1985, over a year and a half after the song first appeared on record. The single was certified Gold in Canada in 1985.

"Hot Summer" is a song by German pop group Monrose. It was written and produced by Danish musicians Remee Sigvardt and Thomas Troelsen and recorded by the trio for their second studio album, Strictly Physical (2007). A dance-pop song with heavy elements of electropop, house and sprechgesang, it was selected out of sereral hundreds of songs and set much of the tone of its parent album, which was chiefly produced by Remee and Troelsen. "Hot Summer" also introduced a stronger dance pop edge to Monrose's overall sound. Lyrically, it features a female protagonist expressing her desire for her love interest.

It would also be their final single to chart in the United States. In Germany, the single peaked at No. 65, their best showing on that country's pop chart.
