Sophie Simone Cortina is a reporter, television host, sports reporter, voice over talent, designer, writer, photographer and, to a lesser extent, actress living between Los Angeles, CA, Chicago, IL, New York City, U.S., Mexico City, Mexico, and Europe. Prior to her career as an entertainer and reporter, she had a professional tennis career and was three times national tennis champion in Mexico and also was ranked in the Top 20 in the world as a junior tennis player. She also voiced the companion Curie in the game Fallout 4.

Early life

Cortina was born in Venezuela and raised in Mexico by a French mother and Mexican father. [1] She attended the University of Miami, Florida, U.S. and graduated with honors in International Business & Marketing, minoring in Photo Journalism and theatre.

Shortly after graduation Sophie started a new career as a reporter, television host, entertainer and sports reporter. She also started a jewelry line named Sophie Simone Designs. [2] [3] [4] This includes international work in many countries for Univision, Telemundo, MTV, MuchMusic Television, Cosmopolitan International Television, Fox Sports, Fox International, AXN, ESPN and now hosts her own daily news show that airs daily on all Sprint Mobile phones. [5] She has covered the 2010 FIFA World Cup for Televisa. To a lesser extent Cortina worked as an actor. [6] She has appeared in commercials on television and in radio broadcasting in English, French, Spanish and Italian. Sophie also voiced the characters of Curie and Miss Edna in the video game Fallout 4.
