Plot

Joy accepts a murder he didn't commit to save his mother's reputation from being found out by the public that she lied about his involvement. However, she saves him from being hanged for the crime after proving his innocence.

The film was screened in 2017 as part of the Bangladesh Film Festival [3] and in 2019 to celebrate what would have been the 48th birthday of Salman Shah. [4]

Chowdhury Muhammad Shahriar Emon, known by his stage name Salman Shah, was a Bangladeshi film and television actor and model. Referred in the media as the "Prince of Bangladeshi Cinema", "Hero of Heroes" and the "First Superstar of Modern Dhallywood", he is commonly regarded as one of the most talented, popular, influential and iconic figures in Bangladesh's film history. Shah appeared in 27 films in a short acting career of three years, many of which were successful. He first gained attention for his debut film, Keyamat Theke Keyamat (1993), and in the following three years appeared in leading roles in a series of commercially successful films, including Bikkhobh, Denmohor, Shujon Shokhi, Shopner Thikana, Ei Ghor Ei Shongsar, Sotter Mrittu Nei and Anondo Osru which established him as one of the most sought after leading men in the industry. Subsequently, he became the highest paid actor in the industry. Three of his films, Shopner Thikana, Sotter Mrittu Nei and Keyamat Theke Keyamat are among the top ten highest grossing films of all time in Dhallywood box office.

Asaduzzaman Mohammad Raisul Islam is a Bangladeshi freedom fighter and an actor in radio, theatre, television and film. He won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Actor four times for his roles in the films Padma Nadir Majhi (1992), Anya Jibon (1995), Dukhai (1997) and Lalsalu (2001). Besides, he won Best Supporting Actor award twice for the roles in Ghani: The Cycle (2006) and Mrittika Maya (2013). As of 2016, he acted in more than 50 films. He was a member of the Crack Platoon an elite urban guerilla, intelligence and commando unit of the Mukti Bahini.

ʿAlā ad-Dīn Fīrūz Shāh was the son and successor of Sultan Nasiruddin Nasrat Shah of Bengal. He served as a governor of Chittagong during his father's reign, and was a patron of Bengali literature. Firuz Shah ascended the throne in 1533, though it was not unanimously recognised by all the nobles of Bengal. The conflict with the Ahom kingdom continued during his reign and the Bengali army led by Turbak Khan had reached as far as Kaliabor. Within three months as Sultan, Firuz Shah was assassinated by his uncle, who succeeded him as Sultan Ghiyasuddin Mahmud Shah.

National Sports Awards are given by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Government of Bangladesh for specific contributions in the field of games and sports. The award was introduced in 1976. As of 2011, total 175 sports personalities won the award.

<i>Keyamat Theke Keyamat</i> 1993 Bangladeshi film

Keyamot Theke Keyamot is a Bangladeshi musical romantic drama film directed by Sohanur Rahman Sohan. The film was released on Eid vacation and was a huge success throughout Bangladesh. This movie was also the debut film of its two main leads Salman Shah and Moushumi, both of whom later became top movie stars in Bangladesh. The film is an official remake of the 1988 Hindi Language film titled Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, and like its predecessor, is based on Romeo and Juliet.

Sujan Sakhi is a 1994 Bangladeshi film starring Salman Shah and Shabnur. It is a remake of the 1975 movie of the same name. as a box-office hit.

Sohanur Rahman Sohan was a Bangladeshi film director and screenwriter. He started his film career as an assistant of director Shibli Sadik. His first film was Biswas Abiswas (1988). He was best known in Dhallywood for directing romantic films. He launched Salman Shah and Moushumi with the film Keyamat Theke Keyamat in 1993 and Shakib Khan with the film Ananta Bhalobasha in 1999. Other notable films directed by him are Amar Jaan Amar Pran (2008), Poran Jai Jolia Re (2010), Se Amar Mon Kereche (2012) etc. He served as the principal of the Universal Performing Arts Institute.

Denmohor is a 1995 Bangladeshi film starring Salman Shah and Moushumi. This film is an official remake of 1991 superhit Bollywood film Sanam Bewafa.

Ei Ghor Ei Songsar is a 1996 Bangladeshi drama film which was directed by Malek Afsary, starring Salman Shah, Brishti, Bulbul Ahmed, Rosy Afsary, Ali Raj and Tamalika Karmakar in lead roles. This film was released on 5 April 1996. This film performed very poorly at the box office.

Tungiparar Miya Bhai is a 2021 Bangladeshi biographical feature film. Its director is Selim Khan and producer is Pinky Akter. The film was made under the banner of Story Shapla Media.

The Jail Killing refers to the murder of four Awami League leaders in prison by the planners of army officers who launched the 15 August 1975 Bangladesh coup d'état. The four were former President Syed Nazrul Islam, former prime ministers Tajuddin Ahmed and Muhammad Mansur Ali, and President of Awami League A. H. M Qamaruzzaman.
