The South American Men's Club Handball Championship, organized by the Pan-American Team Handball Federation, was the official competition for men's handball clubs of South Americas, and takes place every year. In addition to crowning the Pan American champions, the tournament also served as a qualifying tournament for the IHF Super Globe. In 2003 or 2004 it was folded because of the dominance of the Brazilian teams. In 2007 the Pan American Men's Club Handball Championship was created. [1]

Pan-American Team Handball Federation

The Pan-American Team Handball Federation (PATHF) was the continental governing body for handball, beach handball, wheelchair handball and snow handball in Americas since 23 May 1977. PATHF includes North America, Central America, South America and the Caribbean. PATHF's primary functions is to organize competitions for national teams and clubs, and to conduct Men's World Handball Championship and Women's World Handball Championship qualifying tournaments.

The Pan American Men's Handball Championship, also called PanAmericano, was the official competition for senior national handball teams of North, Central, and South America and the Caribbean. It took place every two years and was organized by the Pan-American Team Handball Federation. Beach handball at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics

Beach handball at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics was held from 7 to 13 October in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Handball competitions at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru, were held from July 24 to August 5. The venue for the competition is the Sports Centre Hall 1 located at the Videna cluster. The venue also hosted judo. A total of eight men's and eight women's teams competed in each tournament. This means a total of 224 athletes are competed.

The South American Women's Club Handball Championship, organized by the Pan-American Team Handball Federation, was the official competition for men's handball clubs of South Americas, and takes place every year. In 2003 or 2004 it was folded because of the dominance of the Brazilian teams. In 2016 the Pan American Women's Club Handball Championship was created.

The North American and Caribbean Senior Club Championship, organized by the North America and Caribbean Handball Confederation, is the official competition for men's handball clubs of North America and Caribbian, and takes place every year. In addition to crowning the NorCa champions, the tournament also served as a qualifying tournament for the IHF Men's Super Globe.
