The WWE Hall of Fame is a hall of fame which honors professional wrestlers and professional wrestling personalities maintained by WWE. Originally known as the "WWF Hall of Fame", it was created in 1993, when André the Giant was posthumously inducted with a video package. The 1994 and 1995 ceremonies were held in conjunction with the annual King of the Ring pay-per-view events and the 1996 ceremony was held with the Survivor Series event. Marvin Julian Miller was an American baseball executive who served as the Executive Director of the Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA) from 1966 to 1982. Under Miller's direction, the players' union was transformed into one of the strongest unions in the United States. In 1992, Red Barber said, "Marvin Miller, along with Babe Ruth and Jackie Robinson, is one of the two or three most important men in baseball history." Miller was selected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in December 2019, for induction in 2020.
The 1983 NFL Draft was the procedure by which National Football League teams selected amateur college football players. It is officially known as the NFL Annual Player Selection Meeting. The draft was held April 26–27, 1983, at the New York Sheraton Hotel in New York City, New York. No teams elected to claim any players in the supplemental draft that year.
James A. Shoulders was an American professional rodeo cowboy and rancher. He is commemorated at the ProRodeo Hall of Fame. At the time of his death, he was one of the most successful contestants in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA), having won 16 World Championships, which was the most of any performer at that time. He was known as the 'Babe Ruth of rodeo'. He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and died in Henryetta, Oklahoma.

James Michael LeClair was an American football player and coach. He played professionally as a linebacker for 12 seasons, from 1972 to 1983, in the National Football League (NFL) with the Cincinnati Bengals and two seasons, from 1984 to 1985, in the United States Football League (USFL) with the New Jersey Generals. LeClair played college football at University of Minnesota Crookston and the University of North Dakota. He served as the head football coach at Mayville State University in Mayville, North Dakota from 1986 to 1988. LeClair was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as a player in 1999.
Casey Duane Tibbs was an American cowboy, rodeo performer, and actor. In 1979, he was inducted into the ProRodeo Hall of Fame.
Billy Etbauer is an American ProRodeo Hall of Fame rodeo cowboy who is retired from competition. Etbauer competed on the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) circuit along with his two brothers, Robert and Dan. He won the PRCA World Saddle Bronc Riding Championship five times.

The New Mexico Sports Hall of Fame is a sports hall of fame in the U.S. state of New Mexico. The hall's mission statement states its purpose is "To induct into the Hall of Fame those athletes, coaches, teams or any other individuals who have had significant careers, achieving high standards of athletic success and/or made contributions to sports, thereby bestowing fame and honor to the state of New Mexico. It was first founded in 1973 as the Albuquerque Sports Hall of Fame, and honored those from the Albuquerque region until expanding in 2005 to include other areas of the state. In 2014 the hall assumed its current name.
The State of Washington Sports Hall of Fame is a sports hall of fame honoring athletes associated with the U.S. state of Washington. There have been 218 individuals inducted into the hall since 1960. Members' plaques are displayed in the Shanaman Sports Museum located in the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington. The eight inductees in its 2017 class were Dennis Erickson, Mike Holmgren, Curt Warner, Gary Wright, Kasey Keller, Debbie Armstrong, Joe Steele, and Byron Beck. In 2018, Dan Dugdale, Albert Johnson, Kelly Blair Labounty, Rueben Mayes, Louise Mazzuca, and Mike Price were inducted. For the 2019 class, Dan Fitzgerald, Bernie Fryer, Ken Griffey Jr., Jason Hanson, Megan Jendrick, Steve Raible, Rick Rizzs, and Sugar Ray Seales were named into the hall of fame.
WWE Hall of Fame (2018) was the event that featured the introduction of the 19th class to the WWE Hall of Fame. The event was produced by WWE on April 6, 2018 from the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. The event took place the same weekend as WrestleMania 34. The event aired live on the WWE Network, and was hosted by Jerry Lawler. The following night, a condensed one-hour version of the ceremony aired on USA Network.
