Souvenirs is a Danish pop duo consisting of Sofie Bonde (vocals, guitar) and her husband Nils Torp (bass, keyboards, guitar, violin, cello, accordion, vocals etc.). The group was formed in 1993 in Hjeds (now Rebild Municipality). The music for the band was written by Torp in collaboration with Johnny Voss. Souvenirs is best known for hits like "Han tog et nattog", "Jeg troede, du var hos Michael" and "Jeg hader Susanne".

Souvenirs won the Danish Music Awards in 2004 for Danish Top Album of the Year.

The group's original members met and formed the band while studying at the Aarhus Art Academy. Nils Torp, Steffen Brandt, and Hilmer Hassig later played with the group as well.

<i>Gasolin</i> (album) 1971 album by Gasolin’

Gasolin' (also called Gas 1) is the debut studio album by Danish rock band Gasolin'. It was released in November 1971 by CBS Records. Instead of boogie rock and catchy tunes, they relied on creating songs with a moody feel such as "Langebro", "Fra dag til dag" and "Tremastet beton". The latter is recited by the poet Mogens Mogensen. Lead singer Kim Larsen later jokingly referred to the song as the first Danish rap. The lyrics and the music have a dark and mysterious ambience. From this album "Langebro" was released on the single with "Lilli-Lilli" on the b-side.

Choir of Young Believers

Choir of Young Believers is the musical project of singer, writer and guitarist Jannis Noya Makrigiannis from Copenhagen, Denmark. The band, which consists of Makrigiannis along with a rotating cast of supporting players, has had multiple No 1 hits in their home country of Denmark and was named the "Best New Act" at the 2009 Danish Music Awards. COYB’s music combines folk melodies, orchestral instrumentation, and dark lyrics.

Denmark was represented by Birthe Wilke, with the song '"Uh, jeg ville ønske jeg var dig", at the 1959 Eurovision Song Contest, which took place on 11 March in Cannes, France. "Uh, jeg ville ønske jeg var dig" was chosen as the Danish entry at the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix on 12 February. Wilke had previously come third for Denmark in the 1957 contest in a duet with Gustav Winckler, who was one of her competitors in the 1959 DMGP.

Strawberry Blonde is a Danish singer / songwriter duo from Odense on Funen, consisting of the twins Betina and Anja Følleslev. The name of the group comes from their natural hair color which is sandy or as some calls it Strawberry Blonde. Since 2004 the group has performed at smaller and larger concerts in Denmark and abroad, they appear about 60 times a year. Strawberry Blonde really came to live in 2001 when the group got a record deal and recorded a studio album with producer Amir Aly in Malmö. The album was never released.

Finn Nørbygaard

Finn Nørbygaard is a Danish actor, entertainer, musician and psychotherapist. Nørbygaard was originally educated as a school teacher but had his breakthrough in a TV role as a bus conductor with Jacob Haugaard wherein they popularized the regional expression Ja-dak. The pair also made the Jydekompagniet movies and acted in popular TV-commercials for Tuborg Squash. Another of Nørbygaards successes was the comedy/music show Musik og Fis in 1994 which he made with the singer Jette Torp. The show also became known as Finn og Jette Show.

Distant Sky: Live in Copenhagen is an extended play by the Australian rock band Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. It was released on 28 September 2018 on Bad Seed Ltd. Containing four tracks from a performance at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark in October 2017, the EP was preceded by a concert film of the same name directed by David Barnard. Critical response to Distant Sky: Live in Copenhagen was unanimously positive and the EP charted worldwide, reaching number one on the United Kingdom's Vinyl Albums chart.

Søren Sko Danish singer and songwriter (born 1963)

Søren Sko is a Danish singer and songwriter, best known as a member of the duo Sko/Torp. The artist got his stage name, Sko, which means shoes in danish, from his father who was a shoemaker in Hammel.
