Speedster (styled SPEEDSTER) is the third studio album by Japanese boy band Generations from Exile Tribe. It was released on March 2, 2016. [1] It was number one on the Oricon weekly Albums Chart on its release, [2] with 71,380 copies sold. [3] It was also number one on the Billboard Japan Hot Albums chart [4] and also on the Billboard Japan Top Album Sales chart. [5]

A boy band is loosely defined as a vocal group consisting of young male singers, usually in their teenage years or in their twenties at the time of formation, singing love songs marketed towards young women. Being vocal groups, most boy band members do not play musical instruments, either in recording sessions or on stage, making the term something of a misnomer. However, exceptions do exist. Many boy bands dance as well as sing, usually giving highly choreographed performances.

Generations from Exile Tribe, stylized as GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE, formerly known as Generations, is a seven-member Japanese boy band signed to the Avex Group label Rhythm Zone. The group belongs to the talent agency LDH, and is part of the collective "Exile Tribe", related to Exile. Generations debuted on 21 November 2012.

Oricon Inc., established in 1999, is the holding company at the head of a Japanese corporate group that supplies statistics and information on music and the music industry in Japan. It started as Original Confidence Inc., which was founded by Sōkō Koike in November 1967 and became known for its music charts. Oricon Inc. was originally set up as a subsidiary of Original Confidence and took over the latter’s Oricon record charts in April 2002.

"Sakura" is the 45th single by Japanese boy band Arashi. It was released on February 25, 2015 under their record label J Storm. "Sakura" was used as the theme song for the television drama Ouroborous, starring actors Toma Ikuta and Shun Oguri. The single was released in two editions: a first press/limited edition and a regular edition. The first press/limited edition contains the B-side "Rise and Shine" and the music video and making-of for "Sakura" while the regular edition contains two B-sides. The single sold 465,381 copies in its first week and topped the weekly Oricon Singles Chart.
