Spring Breakin' is an annual professional wrestling television special produced by the American promotion WWE as part of their NXT brand division. Since its inception in 2022, it has been held annually as a television special of NXT . The event's name is a reference to it being held in the spring as all events have been held in either April or May.
The inaugural Spring Breakin' event was held as a special episode of NXT, on May 3, 2022 and took place at NXT's home base of the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. [1] A second Spring Breakin' was confirmed for the following year, establishing Spring Breakin' as an annual Spring event for NXT. [2] On the April 9, 2024 episode of NXT, it was announced that the third Spring Breakin' would take place on April 23 and 30, 2024, this time expanded to a two-part special. [3]

She is a former one-time NXT Women's Champion and a former one-time NXT Women's Tag Team Champion with Candice LeRae. She was a member of The Way stable.
Christian Brigham is an American professional wrestler. He is currently signed to WWE, where he performs on the NXT and SmackDown brand under the ring name Carmelo Hayes. He is a former one-time NXT Champion, a former two-time and longest combined reigning NXT North American Champion, and the final NXT Cruiserweight Champion, having unified it with the North American Championship.
Bronson Rechsteiner is an American professional wrestler and former American football player. He performs on the SmackDown brand of WWE under the ring name Bron Breakker. He previously performed on the NXT brand, where he was a former two-time NXT Champion and one-time NXT Tag Team Champion. A second-generation professional wrestler, Rechsteiner is the son of Rick Steiner and the nephew of Scott Steiner. Rechsteiner was voted "Rookie of the Year" for 2022 by readers of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Carla Gonzalez is an American professional wrestler. As of March 2022, she is signed to WWE where she performs on the NXT brand under the ring name Roxanne Perez. She is the current NXT Women's Champion in her record-tying second reign, and a former NXT Women's Tag Team Champion with Cora Jade. Prior to signing with WWE, Gonzalez wrestled under the ring name Rok-C in Ring of Honor (ROH), where she was the inaugural ROH Women's World Champion. She also worked for several independent promotions such as Reality of Wrestling.
New Year's Evil is a New Year's-themed professional wrestling television special currently produced by the American promotion WWE for its developmental brand NXT. The event was originally established by rival World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and produced as a special episode of its Monday Nitro program on TNT on December 27, 1999. WWE acquired WCW in 2001, and after 21 years since that WCW event, WWE revived New Year's Evil in 2021 as an annual special episode of NXT on the USA Network that airs in early January.

Additionally, Deadline debuted the Iron Survivor Challenge match-type in WWE, with one each for the men and women.
