The Reedy Creek Improvement District (RCID) is the immediate governing jurisdiction for the land of the Walt Disney World Resort. As of the late 1990s, it comprised an area of 38.6 sq mi (100 km2) within the outer limits of Orange and Osceola counties in Florida. The RCID includes the cities of Bay Lake and Lake Buena Vista, and unincorporated RCID land.
The Walt Disney World Resort, also called Walt Disney World and Disney World, is an entertainment complex in Bay Lake and Lake Buena Vista, Florida, in the United States, near the cities Orlando and Kissimmee. Opened on October 1, 1971, the resort is owned and operated by Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, a division of The Walt Disney Company. It was first operated by Walt Disney World Company. The property covers nearly 25,000 acres, of which only half has been used. The park comprises four theme parks, two water parks, 27 themed resort hotels, nine non-Disney hotels, several golf courses, a camping resort, and other entertainment venues, including the outdoor shopping center Disney Springs.
Bay Lake is a city in Orange County, Florida, United States. The population was 47 at the 2010 census. It is named after a lake that lies east of the Magic Kingdom. All four of the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, and one of Walt Disney World's two water parks, are in Bay Lake, though all Disney parks in the region have mailing addresses in nearby Lake Buena Vista.
Hunter's Creek is a master planned, unincorporated community and census-designated place in Orange County, Florida, United States. It is part of the Orlando–Kissimmee–Sanford, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 14,321 at the 2010 census. It has grown up around a large planned community named Hunter's Creek, though the CDP name given by the United States Census Bureau lacks the apostrophe.
Lake Buena Vista is a city in Orange County, Florida, United States. It is mostly known for being the mailing address for Walt Disney World—although almost all of the resort facilities, including all four theme parks, are physically located in the adjacent city of Bay Lake. It is one of two Florida municipalities controlled by The Walt Disney Company, the other being Bay Lake. The permanent residential population of Lake Buena Vista was 10 at the 2010 census.
Seven Lakes is a census-designated place (CDP) in Moore County, North Carolina. It is located about 10–15 minutes away from the Pinehurst #2, where three U.S. Opens have occurred, in 1999, 2005, and 2014. As of the 2000 census, the CDP population was 3,214.

Fairmont Hot Springs is an unincorporated resort community located in south-eastern British Columbia, Canada commonly referred to as Fairmont. The community has a population of 476, but receives frequent tourists from Calgary. The local Fairmont Hot Springs Resort is centered around a soak pool and swimming pool fed by natural mineral hot springs, billing them as "Canada's largest natural mineral hot springs". The original springs building, surrounded by hot spring water seeping out of the ground, still stands.
Mystic Dunes Golf Club is a resort style golf course in Celebration, Florida designed by Gary Koch. Par is 71. The course measures 7012 yards long from the back tees. Its signature hole is the 177 yard par 3 #2, with a waterfall to the left of the green. The golf club resides on the Mystic Dunes Resort & Golf Club timeshare resort owned by Diamond Resorts International, and was previously known as the Wyndham Palms Resort and Country Club.
The Sun 'n Lake of Sebring improvement district is a special district and unincorporated community in Highlands County, Florida, United States. It is located northwest of Sebring, off US 27. It is not to be confused with nearby Sun 'n Lakes South, a subdivision south of Lake Placid, also in Highlands County.

Wilderness Hotel & Golf Resort is a large water resort in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. It is one of the largest indoor waterpark complexes in the world with a combined size of 240,000 square feet (22,000 m2). It is part of a chain of two resorts, the newer and smaller one being Wilderness at the Smokies in Tennessee. The chain also includes four small outdoor waterparks.
The World Golf Village (WGV) is a golf resort in St. Johns County, Florida, United States, located between Jacksonville and St. Augustine. It was created by the PGA Tour and showcases the World Golf Hall of Fame. In addition to the resort the World Golf Village features residential and commercial developments.
Eagle Crest Resort is a destination resort complex in the U.S. state of Oregon. The resort has a large hotel, a conference center, three golf courses, and three major housing developments each with multiple subdivisions. The resort is located west of Redmond in Central Oregon. The development covers 1,700 acres (6.9 km2) on the east slopes of Cline Buttes running eastward to the Deschutes River plus a separate area on the northwest side of the butte.

Lily Lake is a lake that is somewhat rectangular and it has a small cove on its western side. It is contained within the Lily Lake Golf Resort, which is a private retirement golf community along US Highway 27. The lake is about 2 miles (3,200 m) southwest of Frostproof, Florida. Lily Lake has a 9.78-acre (39,600 m2) surface area. This lake is manmade, possibly being dredged or excavated. It has part of the community's nine-hole golf course along part of its shore. It also has some park benches and paved walking trails along its shore.
