Spyke is a 4-issue comic-book limited series created by Mike Baron (writer) and Bill Reinhold (penciller), and published in 1993 by the Marvel Comics imprint Epic Comics. [1] Marie Javins was the editor for the series. [2]

The Joker is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The character was created by Bill Finger, Bob Kane, and Jerry Robinson, and first appeared in the debut issue of the comic book Batman on April 25, 1940. Credit for the Joker's creation is disputed; Kane and Robinson claimed responsibility for the Joker's design while acknowledging Finger's writing contribution. Although the Joker was planned to be killed off during his initial appearance, he was spared by editorial intervention, allowing the character to endure as the archenemy of the superhero Batman.

<i>X-Men: Evolution</i> Television series

X-Men: Evolution is an American animated television series about the Marvel Comics superhero team X-Men. In this incarnation, many of the characters were teenagers instead of adults, much like how they were in the early issues of the comics. The series ran for a total of four seasons from November 4, 2000 until October 25, 2003 on Kids' WB, which at the time made it the third longest-running Marvel Comics animated series, behind only Fox Kids' X-Men and Spider-Man animated series. Disney XD began airing the series on June 15, 2009.

Epic Comics was an imprint of Marvel Comics from 1982 to 1996. A spin-off of the publisher's Epic Illustrated magazine, it published creator-owned work unconnected to Marvel's superhero universe, and without the restrictions of the Comics Code. The name was revived by Marvel in the mid-2000s for a short-lived program inviting new writers to pitch series proposals to the publisher.
