St. Crumnathy's Cathedral Achonry, [1] [2] is a former cathedral [3] in Ireland. [4]
Dedicated to St Nathy, [5] it was formerly in the Diocese of Achonry, [6] and then the joint cathedral of Killala and Achonry. [7] It was rebuilt in 1823 at a cost of £1066 with a grant from the Board of First Fruits. [8] It was then one of three cathedrals in the Diocese of Tuam, Killala and Achonry until it was deconsecrated in 1998. [9] It is now a protected structure. [10]
