The St. Mary of the Angels Church and Monastery is a Roman Catholic parish located in Green Bay, Wisconsin, in the Diocese of Green Bay. [1]
The church is two stories tall and largely made of stone. Attached to the north side of the church is the monastery wing. It was added to the State Register of Historic Places in 2018 and to the National Register of Historic Places in 2019. [2]
Sebastian Messmer, Bishop of Green Bay, acquired the property of the former St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in 1898 and rededicated it to St. Mary of Czestochowa, intending it to serve the Polish American population of Green Bay. The following year, he offered it to the Polish Franciscan Fathers of Pulaski, who rededicated the church and monastery to St. Mary of the Angels in 1900, after the church in Assisi. [3]
St. Norbert College (SNC) is a private Norbertine liberal arts college in De Pere, Wisconsin. Founded in October 1898 by Abbot Bernard Pennings, a Norbertine priest and educator, the school was named after Saint Norbert of Xanten. In 1952, the college became coeducational. As of April 2023, the school's enrollment is 2,009 students.

St Mary's Church is an Anglican parish church in Nantwich, Cheshire, England. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building. It has been called the "Cathedral of South Cheshire" and it is considered by some to be one of the finest medieval churches, not only in Cheshire, but in the whole of England. St. Mary's Catholic Church, Newport is a historic parish located in Newport, Charles County, Maryland, established in 1674. Several churches have been built on the property over its history. At present there are two churches remaining, one built in 1840, deconsecrated in 1906 and no longer used for religious services, and the current church building, built in 1954. The historic 1840 church is a rectangular brick structure, four bays in length and three bays wide. It is of simple architectural styling typical of the Greek Revival period in this locality. Located on the property is the parish cemetery, which includes the burial plot of the Brent-Merrick family, including congressman William Duhurst Merrick (1793–1857). It has several impressively scaled and ornamented monuments enclosed within a decorative mid-19th century wrought iron fence. Other memorial stones bear the signature of "A. Geddess," who founded the long-active Geddess monument firm of Baltimore in 1822.
St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church is a historic Roman Catholic church at 200 E. Main Street in Newark, New Castle County, Delaware. The first congregants of the church were Irish immigrants. The church was dedicated on June 24, 1883, replacing the previous structure built in the late 18th century, after the floor collapsed on Christmas Eve of 1880. The church building is a one-story rectangular brick building with a central tower and three bays on the south front facade.

It was the proto-German church of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. The city had been incorporated only the year before, and Wisconsin had not yet become a state. Old St. Mary's is the oldest church still standing in the city. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.
