The Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of Saint John of Jerusalem, commonly known as the Order of St John, and also known as St John International, is an order of chivalry constituted in 1888 by royal charter from Queen Victoria and dedicated to St John the Baptist.

For constitutional reasons it is not a full member association of the Venerable Order of Saint John and the international St. John Ambulance movement, but rather is classed as an "associated body". The organisation is dedicated to the teaching and practice of medical first aid. It is engaged in first aid training to the public, providing first aid and ambulance cover at public events, patient transport and community services.
The Order of Knights of the Hospital of Saint John of Jerusalem, commonly known as the Knights Hospitaller, is a Catholic military order. It was founded in the crusader Kingdom of Jerusalem in the 12th century and had headquarters there until 1291, thereafter being based in Kolossi Castle in Cyprus (1302–1310), the island of Rhodes (1310–1522), Malta (1530–1798), and Saint Petersburg (1799–1801).

Guernsey Ambulance and Rescue Service is the ambulance and rescue service of Guernsey, the second largest of the Channel Islands, and also provides these services to other islands within the Bailiwick of Guernsey, both those directly governed, and those that are semi-autonomous dependencies of Guernsey. It is operated as a private company, but is a subsidiary of the Venerable Order of St John. Unlike ambulance services in the United Kingdom and Jersey, emergency ambulance and patient transport services are not free of charge. The service charges patients who do not have a paid annual subscription.

The Priory in the United States of America is one of the establishments of the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of Saint John of Jerusalem. It is one of eleven international priories and the representative of the Order in the United States of America. The main purpose of the Priory is to provide for the financial support of the St John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital Group. It also contributes to other projects of the Order of St John around the world, responds to special appeals for disaster relief, and maintains a volunteer service corps that serves veterans in the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.
St John Ambulance Guernsey (SJAG), also known as St John Guernsey (SJG), officially The Commandery of the Bailiwick of Guernsey of the Most venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem is a charitable voluntary first aid organisation and the division of St John Ambulance in Guernsey. It provides event first aid cover, cycle response unit, the Community Library, and a Badgers and Cadets youth programme. St John also provides Community First Responders, the Volunteer Ambulance Reserve and the Flying Christine III marine ambulance in partnership with St John Ambulance & Rescue Service (SJARS). St John Training Services delivers workplace and community first aid sessions and runs a First Aid in Schools programme.
St John Ambulance Jersey, officially the Commandery of the Baliwick of Jersey of the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem is a charitable voluntary first aid organisation based in Jersey. It teaches first aid and communication skills to over 16s, alongside recruiting volunteers to provide first aid at events, respond to emergencies and work alongside police. On the 3 April 2020, the Jersey Ambulance Service took command of St John Ambulance, to help coordinate its emergency first aid efforts. The organisation is affiliated with St John Ambulance England, and is heavily managed from their headquarters. In 2019, the charity faced financial troubles after failing to find a sponsor. The chief executive, Barry Marsden, said the organisation could face bankruptcy in 2021. Following the statement, David Le Quesne sponsored the charity and brought its finances to £900,000.
