Stade Michel-Bendichou is a sports stadium in Colomiers, France. It is the home ground of the rugby union team US Colomiers of the Rugby Pro D2. It has a capacity of 11,430. [1] It takes its name from Michel Bendichou, a former president of the club.

Colomiers is a commune in the Haute-Garonne department in southwestern France. It is the largest suburb of the city of Toulouse, and is adjacent to it on the west side. It is a member of the Toulouse Métropole.

Union sportive Colomiers Rugby or US Colomiers is a French rugby union club currently competing in Pro D2, the second level of the French rugby pyramid. They had been relegated from Pro D2 after finishing last in the 2006-07 season, but earned promotion from Fédérale 1 at the first opportunity in 2007-08, and survived a relegation scare in 2008–09, finishing 14th, in the last safe position. The club was relegated from Pro D2 in the 2010–11 season. The club, based in Colomiers in the Haute-Garonne département of Occitania, was founded in 1915 and plays at the Stade Michel Bendichou. The players wear blue and white. Colomiers have been runners-up in the French championship and Heineken Cup, as well as winners of the European Challenge Cup.

Fabien Galthié Rugby player

Fabien Galthié is a French rugby union coach and former player, he is currently the head coach of the French national team. His usual position was at scrum-half. He played much of his club rugby for Colomiers, and later on in his career, Stade Français. Galthié won 64 caps for France, including four Rugby World Cup appearances, as well as captaining the side at the 2003 World Cup. Former France national coach Bernard Laporte has described him as the greatest scrum-half in French history. He was the IRB International Player of the Year in 2002.

Union Sportive Bressane is a general sports club based in the town of Bourg-en-Bresse, France. The club has competed for the past few years in France's third division, Nationale. During the 2007–08 season, they managed to reach the final of the Jean-Prat championship and faced a surging US Colomiers side. US Bressane was easily defeated 36-3, but thanks to reaching the final this still earned the club automatic promotion to the second division of France, Rugby Pro D2 for 2008-09.

The 1993 France rugby union tour of South Africa was a series of eight matches played by the France national rugby union team in South Africa in June and July 1993. The French team won four matches, drew two and lost two. They won their two match international series against the South Africa national rugby union team, drawing the first game and winning the second for a one-nil series victory. Victor Delmas is a French professional rugby union player. He plays at prop for US Colomiers. Delmas was signed by Bath, to provide backup in the tight-head prop position that he specialises. He was expected to join at the end of the 2017/2018 English Premiership rugby season, but was allowed to leave early and made his Bath debut coming on as a sub on 7 April 2018. Delmas previously played for French Pro D2 side US Colomiers. Achieving over 100 appearances.
