The Kentucky House of Representatives is the lower house of the Kentucky General Assembly. It is composed of 100 Representatives elected from single-member districts throughout the Commonwealth. Not more than two counties can be joined to form a House district,except when necessary to preserve the principle of equal representation. Representatives are elected to two-year terms with no term limits. The Kentucky House of Representatives convenes at the State Capitol in Frankfort.
John William Conway is an American lawyer and politician from the Commonwealth of Kentucky. A member of the Democratic Party,Conway served as the 49th attorney general of Kentucky from January 7,2008,to January 4,2016. Prior to his election as attorney general,he was the nominee for Kentucky's 3rd congressional district in the 2002 elections,narrowly losing to Republican incumbent Anne Northup.
Thomas Elliott Bramlette was the 23rd Governor of Kentucky. He was elected in 1863 and guided the state through the latter part of the Civil War and the beginning of Reconstruction. At the outbreak of the war,Bramlette put his promising political career on hold and enlisted in the Union Army,raising and commanding the 3rd Kentucky Infantry. In 1862,President Abraham Lincoln appointed him district attorney for Kentucky. A year later,he was the Union Democrats' nominee for governor. Election interference by the Union Army gave him a landslide victory over his opponent,Charles A. Wickliffe. Within a year,however,federal policies such as recruiting Kentucky African-Americans for the Union Army and suspending the writ of habeas corpus for Kentucky citizens caused Bramlette to abandon his support of the Lincoln administration and declare that he would "bloodily baptize the state into the Confederacy".
Richard Dwight Farmer is an American former collegiate basketball player and Republican Party politician from the U.S. state of Kentucky. He served as the Kentucky Commissioner of Agriculture from 2004 to 2012 and was the running mate of David L. Williams in the 2011 gubernatorial election. After leaving office,Farmer was investigated for violating state campaign finance laws and misappropriating state resources and was sentenced to 27 months in federal prison along with a concurrent 12 months in state prison.

However,he lost the general election by twenty points to incumbent Democratic Governor Steve Beshear. In November 2012,Williams resigned his Senate seat to accept a circuit court judgeship.
Steven Lynn Beshear is an American attorney and politician who served as the 61st governor of Kentucky from 2007 to 2015. He served in the Kentucky House of Representatives from 1974 to 1980,was the state's 44th attorney general from 1980 to 1983 and was the 49th lieutenant governor from 1983 to 1987.

Cluster Howard is an American politician from Kentucky who was a member of the Kentucky House of Representatives from 2015 to 2017 and 2019 to 2021. Howard was first elected in 2014,defeating Republican incumbent Toby Herald. In 2016 he was defeated for reelection by Herald in a rematch. Howard challenged Herald again in 2018,defeating him by a margin of seven votes. Howard declined to seek reelection in 2020 and was succeeded by Republican Billy Wesley.
