The Star Awards for Best Drama Serial was an award presented annually at the Star Awards, a ceremony that was established in 1994.

The category was introduced in 2000, at the 7th Star Awards ceremony; The Legendary Swordsman received the award and it is given in honour of a Mediacorp drama serial which has the highest overall viewership.

Since its inception, the award has been given to 14 drama serials. Tiger Mum was the most recent winner in this category.

The award was not presented in 2001 and 2005. Additionally, following changes to the measurement of television viewership, the award category was not presented from 2017 onwards. [1]

The Star Awards is an annual ceremony held in Singapore where the media organisation Mediacorp recognises entertainers under their employment for outstanding performances of the year.

Star Awards 2013 was a double television award ceremony held in Singapore. Star Awards 2018 is a television award ceremony which is held in Singapore. The Post Party and Ceremony Awards was broadcast live on 22 April 2018. A total of 15 awards were handed out during the ceremony, among which the Special Achievement Award, an award given out to a celebrity in recognition to meritorious contribution, returned after a 15-year absence, with the award last presented in 2003, in the place of All-Time Favourite Artiste, which was not presented this year, and the third ceremony overall, after 2007 and 2013.

Star Awards 2019 Singapore TV award

Star Awards 2019 is a television award ceremony which is held in Singapore. Star Awards 2019 marks the 25th anniversary, or Silver Jubilee, of the Star Awards since it was first awarded in 1994, hence subtitled Star Awards 25. The theme for the ceremony is "The Moment", highlighting the best moments of the local television industries alongside Singapore's talents and audiences as well. This is also the first award ceremony to feature a vocalized version of the Awards' theme tune, titled 《星光》(lit. "Starlight").
