Stara Wieś [ˈstara ˈvjɛɕ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Limanowa, within Limanowa County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) south-west of Limanowa and 54 km (34 mi) south-east of the regional capital Kraków. [1]

Its administrative seat and largest town is Limanowa, which lies 54 kilometres (34 mi) south-east of the regional capital Kraków. The only other town in the county is Mszana Dolna, lying 27 km (17 mi) west of Limanowa.
