Stein Amundsen (born 9 February 1966) is a retired Norwegian football striker.

He started his career in Drøbak-Frogn and was picked up by Lillestrøm SK in 1988. His career was crowned with the 1989 1. divisjon title, which he secured with the decisive winning goal. He amassed 66 league games over four seasons. [1] [2] He was bought by Lyn in 1992, eventually being converted to midfielder as well as team captain. [3] He played the 1994 Norwegian Football Cup Final, which Lyn lost.

Upon retiring in 1997, he entered dentist training and eventually settled as a dentist in Hvitsten. He married and had one daughter. [1]

The 1938 Norwegian Football Cup was the 37th season of the Norwegian annual knockout football tournament. The tournament was open for all members of NFF, except those from Northern Norway. The final was played at Briskeby in Hamar on 16 October 1938, and was contested by the defending champions Mjøndalen and the three-time former winners Fredrikstad. Fredrikstad secured their fourth title with a 3-2 win after extra time in the final. Fredrikstad's cup-victory completed the first Norwegian double, having also won the inaugural League of Norway.

Finn Amundsen was a Norwegian sports journalist, radio reporter, non-fiction writer and translator. He was born in Kristiania. He was journalist and later editor of the sports magazine Idrætsliv, until 1932, and from then sports editor of the newspaper Morgenbladet. He became legendary as radio sports reporter, in particular on skating. He was also active for SFK Lyn and refereed the 1938 Norwegian Football Cup Final.

Sveinung Aarnseth was a Norwegian footballer and dentist. Aarnseth began his football career as a forward, but was later converted to central defender. He most notably played for SFK Lyn from 1960 to 1968, where he played a total of 113 matches, scoring 18 goals in the top division of the Norwegian league. As a member of Lyn, he won the Norwegian league twice, and the Norwegian Cup twice. He also won five international caps for Norway, making his debut against Sweden in September 1964.
