Stelio Zupancich (born April 7, 1958) is a Canadian former ice hockey player. He represented Canada at the 1980 Winter Olympics held in Lake Placid, where he scored one goal and three assists in six games.

He also played OHL hockey with the Toronto Marlboros and Oshawa Generals. [1] He finished his career playing for the Toronto Varsity Blues, twice an all star and elected to the school's Sports Hall of Fame. [2]

After hockey, he had career with the Toronto-Dominion Bank, becoming a real estate vice-president, and is married to Trish. They have a son, named Leonard. [3]

The Red Tilson Trophy is awarded annually by the Ontario Hockey League to the most outstanding player (MVP) as voted by OHL writers and broadcasters. The trophy is named for Red Tilson, who played for the Oshawa Generals, and died during military service in World War II. Winners of the Red Tilson Trophy are nominated for the CHL Player of the Year award. The Red Tilson trophy resides in the Oshawa Sports Hall of Fame, in the Tribute Communities Centre.

The 1938 Memorial Cup final was the 20th junior ice hockey championship of the Canadian Amateur Hockey Association. The George Richardson Memorial Trophy champions Oshawa Generals of the Ontario Hockey Association in Eastern Canada competed against the Abbott Cup champions St. Boniface Seals of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League in Western Canada. In a best-of-five series, held at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto, Ontario, St. Boniface won their 1st Memorial Cup, defeating Oshawa 3 games to 2.

Dale "Digger" DeGray is a Canadian former ice hockey defenceman who played 153 games in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was an eighth round selection, 182nd overall, of the Calgary Flames at the 1981 NHL Entry Draft and played for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Los Angeles Kings and Buffalo Sabres in addition to the Flames before settling into a long minor league career. Internationally, DeGray represented Canada on one occasion; he was a member of the bronze medal winning team at the 1995 World Championship. DeGray is currently the general manager of the Owen Sound Attack of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) and was named the OHL Executive of the Year in 2010–11.

The 2000 IIHF Women's World Championships was held April 3–9, 2000 in the Ontario towns of Mississauga, Barrie, Kitchener, London, Niagara Falls, Oshawa and Peterborough, Canada. Final games were played at the Hershey Centre in Mississauga. Team Canada won their sixth consecutive gold medal at the World Championships defeating the United States.

William Wayne Heindl Jr. was a Canadian professional ice hockey left winger who played 18 games in the National Hockey League for the Minnesota North Stars and New York Rangers between 1970 and 1972, and in the World Hockey Association with the Cleveland Crusaders during the 1973–74 season.
