Stella Baker (born August 8, 1993) is an American actress, best known for her roles in the television series The Republic of Sarah and Tell Me Your Secrets (both 2021).

Early life and career

She was born in Australia to actors Simon Baker and Rebecca Rigg, and grew up in Los Angeles, California. [1] [2] Her first acting role was in a play in her early 20s. [3] She moved to Portland for college and attended the Yale School of Drama, graduating in 2018. [2] [1]

She first appeared as a guest in the second episode of the final 2014 season of her father's show The Mentalist , "The Greybar Hotel". Subsequently, she appeared in a number of shorts, one of which she also wrote and produced, before being cast in the thriller drama series Tell Me Your Secrets as Theresa Barlow. [2]

She played Sarah Cooper in The CW's The Republic of Sarah for its only season in 2021. [2]

Stella Price is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera Coronation Street, played by Michelle Collins. Collins' casting was announced in April 2011 and she began filming her scenes in May. The actress commuted from north London to Manchester for filming. Collins joined the show in order to have the financial security to ensure that her daughter could go to university. Collins, who is from Southern England and was previously well known for her role as Londoner, Cindy Beale on BBC's EastEnders, used a Northern accent for the role of Stella as Coronation Street is set in Manchester. She made her first on-screen appearance during the episode broadcast on 16 June 2011. Stella was introduced along with her boyfriend, Karl Munro, and her daughter, Eva. Tell Me Your Secrets is an American thriller drama television series created by Harriet Warner that was set to premiere on TNT before premiering on Amazon Prime Video on February 19, 2021. The series was also written by Warner who executive produced alongside Bruna Papandrea and Casey Haver.

The Republic of Sarah is an American drama television series that premiered on June 14, 2021, and concluded on September 6, 2021, on The CW. The series was created by Jeffrey Paul King and stars Stella Baker in the title role, alongside Luke Mitchell, Megan Follows, Izabella Alvarez, Ian Duff, Hope Lauren, Nia Holloway, Landry Bender and Forrest Goodluck as a part of the main cast. In September 2021, the series was canceled after one season.
