Warren Kizza Besigye Kifefe, known as Colonel Dr. Kizza Besigye, is a Ugandan physician, politician, and former military officer in the Uganda People's Defence Force. He served as the president of the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) political party and was an unsuccessful candidate in Uganda's 2001, 2006, 2011, and 2016 presidential elections, losing all of them to the incumbent, Yoweri Museveni, who has been president of Uganda since 26 January 1986. The results of the 2006 elections were contested in court, and the court found massive rigging and disenfranchisement. Besigye allowed an early internal FDC election for a successor president, which took place on 24 November 2012.
Agnes Akiror Egunyu, known as Agnes Akiror, is a Ugandan politician. She is the current State Minister for Teso Affairs in the Cabinet of Uganda. She was appointed to that position on 6 June 2016. Prior to that, from 27 May 2011 until 6 June 2016, she served as Minister of State for Tourism. She replaced Serapio Rukundo, who was dropped from the cabinet. Akello Judith Franca is a Ugandan politician and economist. She is the district woman representative of Agago in the eighth, ninth and tenth Parliament of Uganda. In the eleventh Parliament, she stood for Woman MP for Agago but lost with 26,840 votes. She was affiliated to the Forum for Democratic Change political party in the 10th Parliament. She was also the National Resistance Movement member.
