Stephen Cutts

Stephen Cutts (born 1964 in Bromley, England) has served in a number of leadership roles in Intergovernmental and not for profit organisations. He has a First Class Honours degree in American Studies and English Literature from the University of Keele, a PGCE from Lancaster University, an Executive MBA from INSEAD and an Honorary Doctorate from Keele University.

Career

In 2008, Cutts joined the Commonwealth Secretariat in London. He served first as Director of Strategic Planning and Evaluation at the Commonwealth Secretariat, and then as Commonwealth Assistant Secretary-General for Corporate Affairs. In this position, he was in charge of the administration, finance, strategic planning and human resources matters. [1]

In 2013, Cutts joined the United Nations as Assistant Secretary-General for the Office of Central Support Services in the Department of Management. He was appointed to this position by United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on 3 April 2013. [2]

Commonwealth Secretary-General Head of the Commonwealth Secretariat

The Commonwealth secretary-general is the head of the Commonwealth Secretariat, the central body which has served the Commonwealth of Nations since its establishment in 1965, and responsible for representing the Commonwealth publicly. The Commonwealth secretary-general should not be confused with the head of the Commonwealth, who is currently Elizabeth II.

Jane Holl Lute

Jane Holl Lute is an American diplomat and security analyst currently serving as the UN special envoy on the Cyprus dispute. She served as the Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security from 2009 through 2013, after having been confirmed by the U.S. Senate on April 3, 2009. Previously, Lute was the United Nations Assistant Secretary-General for Peacebuilding Support. Before that she was Assistant Secretary-General for Mission Support in the Department of Peacekeeping Operations since August 2003. She is the President and CEO of the Arlington-based Council on CyberSecurity and Senior Advisor of Measure, a Drone as a Service company. On January 5, 2014, she was appointed Special Adviser for Relocation of Camp Hurriya Residents Outside of Iraq by United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. On February 8, 2016, she was appointed Special Coordinator on Improving the United Nations Response to Sexual Exploitation and Abuse.

Warren Edward Sach occupied various executive roles at the United Nations, retiring in 2013 as Assistant Secretary-General for Central Support Services.

Anthony Banbury is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES). He served as United Nations Assistant Secretary-General for Field Support until 5 February 2016. He resigned from this position, stating that the UN is in dire need of reform. Drawing on more than 20 years of experience with the UN, he criticized its sclerotic personnel system, a lack of accountability, insufficient impact and the UN's inability to deal with transgressions by its own staff.

Michael Møller Danish diplomat

Michael Møller is president of the Diplomatic Forum of the Geneva Science and Diplomacy Anticipator Foundation, principal advisor at Macro Advisory Partners and member of the boards of several foundations, including the Kofi Annan Foundation. He is Honorary President of the Association of Former International Civil Sevants for Development (Greycells). He is a Danish former Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations and the 12th director-general of the United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG). He was also the secretary-general of the Conference on Disarmament and the United Nations Secretary-General's personal representative to the conference. He was appointed to these roles by Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in November 2013 and was reappointed by Secretary-General António Guterres in February 2017 for another year. Møller has over 40 years of experience as an international civil servant in the United Nations System, serving in different roles in New York, Iran, Mexico, Haiti and Geneva. Prior to his tenure as director-general, he was the executive director of the Kofi Annan Foundation from 2008 to 2011.
