Steven Angeli is an American football quarterback for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
Raised in Westfield, New Jersey, Angeli attended and played high school football at Bergen Catholic High School in Oradell, New Jersey, a school located 30 miles (48 km) from his hometown. [1] He was considered a 3-star quarterback by 247Sports [2] and Rivals.com, [3] and a 4 star by ESPN. [4]
On October 22, 2022, Angeli made his collegiate debut against UNLV. Overall, Angeli appeared in two games in the 2022 season.
In 2023, Angeli was named the backup quarterback, behind Sam Hartman. He appeared in nine games and recorded 4 touchdowns and 1 interception for 272 passing yards.
On December 29, 2023, Angeli will make his first collegiate start in the Sun Bowl. [5]

Joseph Clifford Montana Jr. is an American former football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 16 seasons, primarily with the San Francisco 49ers. Nicknamed "Joe Cool" and "the Comeback Kid", Montana is widely regarded as one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. After winning a national championship at Notre Dame, Montana began his NFL career in 1979 at San Francisco, where he played for the next 14 seasons. With the 49ers, Montana started and won four Super Bowls and was the first player to be named the Super Bowl Most Valuable Player (MVP) three times. He also holds Super Bowl career records for most passes without an interception and the all-time highest passer rating of 127.8. In 1993, Montana was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs, where he played for his last two seasons and led the franchise to its first AFC Championship Game. Montana was inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2000.
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team is the intercollegiate football team representing the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Indiana, north of the city of South Bend, Indiana. The team plays its home games at the campus' Notre Dame Stadium, which has a capacity of 77,622. He also played for the Oakland Raiders. Tuck graduated from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business with an MBA in 2018. He is now an employee of Goldman Sachs.

The 2022 Gasparilla Bowl was a college football bowl game played on December 23, 2022, at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The 14th annual Gasparilla Bowl began at 6:35 p.m. EST and was aired on ESPN. The game was played between the Wake Forest Demon Deacons from the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and the Missouri Tigers from the Southeastern Conference (SEC). It was one of the 2022–23 bowl games concluding the 2022 FBS football season.
