Steve Eise is a retired American soccer player who played professionally in the American Professional Soccer League.
Eise, brother of David Eise, graduated from Rosary High School in St. Louis, Missouri. He attended St. Louis University, playing on the men's soccer team from 1985 to 1988. [1] On July 9, 1989, the St. Louis Storm selected Eise in the second round of the Major Indoor Soccer League Amateur Draft. He never played a first team game with the Storm. He also played indoors with the Detroit Rockers during the 1990–91 National Professional Soccer League season. In 1990, Eise joined the Colorado Foxes of the American Professional Soccer League. [2] He was a 1990 Second Team All Western Conference and a 1991 All League Honorable Mention defender.
Marcelo Balboa is an American retired professional soccer who played as a defender in the 1990s for the United States national team, becoming its captain. He is a member of the National Soccer Hall of Fame.
David Dir is an American soccer coach, broadcaster, and former player. He played professionally in the USISL and has served as a head coach in the APSL, NCAA, and Major League Soccer, and as an assistant with the United States under-20 national team. Dir was one of the original ten MLS head coaches, coaching the Dallas Burn from 1996 until 2000. At the time of his departure in 2000, Dir had amassed a regular-season record of 81-75-4, which made him the winningest head coach in MLS history until Thomas Rongen overtook him in 2001.
Dan Donigan is a retired United States soccer forward and former coach who played professionally in the Major Indoor Soccer League, American Professional Soccer League and National Professional Soccer League. Following his playing career he coached at the collegiate level as an assistant coach for Connecticut and Saint Louis, and subsequently as a head coach for Saint Louis and Rutgers.
Stephen "Steve" Trittschuh is an American soccer coach and former player who most recently served as head coach of USL Championship side Saint Louis FC. As a player, he played as a defender in the Major Indoor Soccer League, American Professional Soccer League and Major League Soccer. He also earned thirty-eight caps with the United States men's national soccer team including one game at the 1990 FIFA World Cup.

Scott "Benny" Benedetti is a retired American soccer player. He began his professional career with the semi-professional F.C. Portland in 1986 and ended it with the U.S. second division club Portland Timbers in 2005. While he spent most of his career in the U.S. divisions, he had just over a season in Major League Soccer and half a season in the Primera División de México with UNAM Pumas. He earned one cap with the U.S. national team in 1996. He played in such places as South Korea, Thailand, England, Austria and Scotland.
Michael Fox is a retired American soccer midfielder. He began his professional career with the New York Cosmos in 1983 and ended it with the Los Angeles Heat in 1994. In between those two teams, he played for numerous teams in multiple indoor and outdoor league. He also earned seventeen caps with the U.S. national team and was a member of the U.S. 1984 Olympic soccer team.
Ted Eck is a retired American soccer player who played for numerous clubs in the United States and Canada over a thirteen-year professional career. He is currently an assistant coach with Real Salt Lake in Major League Soccer. He also earned thirteen caps with the U.S. national team between 1989 and 1996.
Mark Santel is a retired U.S. soccer midfielder who is currently an assistant coach for the Saint Louis Billikens. Santel played professionally in the Major Indoor Soccer League, American Professional Soccer League and Major Soccer League. He also earned eight caps with the U.S. national team between 1988 and 1997.
Kevin Grimes is a former U.S. National Team player who played five seasons in the American Professional Soccer League, one in the USISL and one each in Iceland and Major League Soccer. He also earned five caps with the U.S. National Team in 1988. Grimes made over 20 appearances for the U.S. National Team from 1988 to 1990 that were not official international caps, but rather international matches versus other professional clubs from Central and South America.

Overview of the 1990 American Professional Soccer League season. Although the Western Soccer League and the American Soccer League merged to form the American Professional Soccer League in 1990, the two leagues remained essentially independent leagues, linked by name alone. During this season, they ran separate regular season schedules with two different points systems. They each had their own playoff formats, had separate league MVPs and had their own All-League teams. The first game between the two leagues came in September when the Maryland Bays of the American Soccer League defeated the San Francisco Bay Blackhawks of the Western Soccer League for the American Professional Soccer League championship.
