Steve Luke (born September 4, 1953) is a former American football safety in the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the fourth round of the 1975 NFL draft. He played college football at Ohio State.
Luke spent his entire career with the Green Bay Packers and was their starting strong safety from 1976 to 1980.
Luke played in every single Packers game in his 6-year career, from 1975 through 1980. That's 90 games overall.
Before the 1981 season, the Packers traded Luke and a draft pick to the Atlanta Falcons for Dewey McClain and Frank Reed, [1] but Luke did not play for the Falcons.
LeRoy Butler III is an American former professional football player who spent his entire 12-year career from 1990 to 2001 as a safety for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2022.
David Steven Brown was an American professional football player who was a cornerback for 15 seasons in the National Football League (NFL) for the Pittsburgh Steelers (1975), Seattle Seahawks (1976–1986), and Green Bay Packers (1987–1989). He was selected as a second-team All-NFL player in 1984 and a second-team All-AFC player in 1985. His 62 career interceptions ranks tied for tenth in NFL history, with only five players having more interceptions in a career since his career ended in 1989. His 50 interceptions with the Seahawks remains a club record.
Nicholas Cordell Collins is an American former professional football player who was a safety for seven seasons with the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats, and was selected by the Packers in the second round of the 2005 NFL draft. Collins led the league in interceptions returned for touchdowns and interception return yards in the 2008 season. In Super Bowl XLV, he intercepted Ben Roethlisberger for a touchdown as the Packers beat the Pittsburgh Steelers, 31–25.
