Steven Lloyd Welch is an American Christian musician, worship leader, and pastor, who primarily plays Christian pop and contemporary worship music. He has released one solo album, Color of Love, in 2012, with Dream Records.

Early and personal life

Steven Lloyd Welch, the son of Stan, a pastor, [1] and Sherry Lynn Welch, [2] who is the older brother to Sumer, who is his sister. He was formerly the worship leader at James River Assembly in Springfield, Missouri, [3] while he eventually left to take a position with Eastridge Church in Issaquah, Washington. His wife is Danina, and they have children together. [4]

Music career

His professional music career started in 2011, with the recording, Color of Love, that was released on September 18, 2012, from Dream Records. [5] [6]

Hillsong United is a worship collective that originated as a part of Hillsong Church. Formed in 1998 as part of Hillsong's youth ministry, the band consists of several rotating worship leaders from the church, including Joel Houston, Taya Smith-Gaukrodger, Matt Crocker, Jonathon Douglass, Brooke Fraser, Jad Gillies and Benjamin Hastings. Their group formed at Covenant Church, an interdenominational congregation, while the church was established by Pastors Mike and Kathy Hayes, in 1976. North Point Worship, formerly known as North Point InsideOut, is an American contemporary worship music band from Alpharetta, Georgia. Their group formed at North Point Community Church in 2012, a non-denominational congregation, a church established by Pastor Andy Stanley. The group released, No One Higher in 2012 and Hear in 2015 with North Point Music. Nothing Ordinary: Part 1 released in June 2017 and Nothing Ordinary: Part 2 released in October 2017 were recorded with Centricity Music. Two of those albums both charted on the Billboard magazine charts, with the Hear album placing on the Billboard 200 chart. The group is best known for their 2015 hit "Death Was Arrested" featuring Seth Condrey. It peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard Christian Digital Song Sales for four consecutive weeks.

Brian Mark Johnson is an American contemporary worship musician and worship pastor. He is the president and co-founder of Bethel Music, as well as a member of its Artist Collective and is one-half of the husband-and-wife worship duo, Brian & Jenn Johnson. He is also a senior worship pastor at Bethel Church in Redding, California, and a Senior Overseer of WorshipU, an online school of worship under Bethel Music which he co-founded with Jenn Johnson.
