The Stockholm Japan Expo is an annual expo held in Gullmarsplan in Stockholm to showcase Japanese culture and arts. The three-day event typically runs through the last (usually fourth) Friday of the month May to the consequent Sunday.
In 2009, it ran from 22 May till the 24th. The headliner for the event was Japanese rock musician, Miyavi was to perform on 23 May. [1]

Dué le quartz was a Japanese visual kei rock band that formed in December 1998 and signed to PS Company, a sub-division of Free-Will. Vocalist Sakito and bassist Kikasa later reunited to form the band Figure: and guitarist Miyabi changed his name to "Miyavi" and started a solo career.
MYV Pops is the fourth studio album by Miyavi. It was released on August 2, 2006 and charted 15th on Oricon. Its limited edition comes with an additional DVD, containing a documentary with back stage footage of the artist's previous tour and the making of the music video for "Kimi ni Negai Wo". The first album singles, "Señor Señora Señorita/Gigpig Boogie" and "Kimi ni Negai Wo" charted as tenth and twenty-sixth respectively. This was the first album, where his style shifted towards a more pop sound, wanting to "study pop music in [his] own way".
Skin is a United States-based Japanese visual kei rock supergroup founded by Japanese musicians Yoshiki, Gackt, Sugizo and Miyavi in 2007. The group's debut performance was on June 29, 2007, at Long Beach Arena, California. Although they had announced more activities, including a live tour and releasing an album, no new activities have occurred.
