The International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), more commonly known as the International Baccalaureate (IB), is a nonprofit foundation headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, and founded in 1968. It offers four educational programmes: the IB Diploma Programme and the IB Career-related Programme for students aged 15 to 19, the IB Middle Years Programme for students aged 11 to 16, and the IB Primary Years Programme for children aged three to 12. It offers the International Baccalaureate. Although they are located in the same building as Green Run High School they are two separate schools. The mission of the school is to prepare students for success in a global society with attending college and joining the workforce or serving the nation with the military.
