Södermanland County is a county or län on the southeast coast of Sweden. It is often shortened and pronounced as Sörmlands län, or simply Sörmland, which is the dominant pronunciation locally. For example, the municipality-owned regional association of the county goes under the "Sörmland" name. It borders the counties of Östergötland, Örebro, Västmanland, Uppsala, Stockholm and to the Baltic sea. It holds the popular camping route called "Sörmlandsleden" which is a system of trails covering a total of approximately 100 mil of walking paths, in Södermanland.
Aust-Agder is one of 18 counties (fylker) in Norway, bordering Telemark, Rogaland, and Vest-Agder counties. In 2002, there were 102,945 inhabitants, which is 2.2% of the total population in Norway. Its area is 9,212 square kilometres (3,557 sq mi). The administrative center of the county is the town of Arendal.
