N.W.A was an American hip hop group formed in Compton, California. They were among the earliest and most significant popularizers and controversial figures of the gangsta rap subgenre, and the group is widely considered one of the greatest and most influential groups in the history of hip hop music.

The track "Fuck tha Police" drew an FBI agent's warning letter, which aided N.W.A's notoriety, with N.W.A calling itself "the world's most dangerous group."

Gary Gray, from a screenplay by Jonathan Herman and Andrea Berloff and co-produced by former members Ice Cube and Dr. Dre, Eazy-E's widow Tomica Woods-Wright, Gray, Matt Alvarez and Scott Bernstein, with MC Ren and DJ Yella serving as creative consultants. The film stars O'Shea Jackson Jr. as his father Ice Cube, alongside Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell, Neil Brown Jr. and Aldis Hodge as Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, MC Ren and DJ Yella, respectively, and Paul Giamatti as Heller. Rounding out the rest of the ensemble cast include Marlon Yates Jr, R. Marcos Taylor, LaKeith Stanfield, Alexandra Shipp and Keith Powers.
Little Dorrit is a lost 1920 British silent historical drama film directed by Sidney Morgan and starring Lady Tree, Langhorn Burton and Joan Morgan. The Plastic Dome of Norma Jean is a 1966 independent film about a young psychic woman whose powers are exploited by a boy band, directed by Juleen Compton. It was written by Compton and filmed in the Ozark mountains, and was the feature film debut of Sam Waterston. The film was shown at Cannes, which awarded the film as part of its International Female Week series, and at the San Francisco International Film Festival.
Fire on the Hill is a 2020 documentary film directed by Brett Fallentine. It tells the story of three South Central Los Angeles urban cowboys and their struggle to preserve a threatened culture by rebuilding their community stable, "The Hill," after a mysterious fire burnt it down. The film premiered at the LA Film Festival where it won the "LA Muse Award," and went on to receive other awards, including the "Artistic Vision Award" at the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival and the "Jimmy Stewart Legacy Award" at the Heartland International Film Festival.
