Strata Music

Strata Music (UK) is a boutique artist management company, [1] with associated record label [2] and distribution company, established in 2010 by Gordon Biggins. It has a small roster of established and developing artists and bespoke services extending into rights management and music publishing.

Associated artists include Die So Fluid, Lamb, Lou Rhodes and LOWB, producer Andy Barlow as well as a growing roster of upcoming artists.

Strataville

The Strata Music record label rebranded from Strata Music to Strataville in 2016. [3]

Strata Books

Strata Books is an independent book publisher launched in 2013. It publishes books by musicians.

In November 2014, it published You Can Drum But You Can't Hide, a memoir by former Fall drummer Simon Wolstencroft. [4] It has published two fiction titles, Don't Breathe the Air [5] and My Name Is Ferdinand by former musician and music journalist Simon Fellowes (Intaferon, Simon F). It also publishes The Phlunk picture book series - The Phlunk, [6] and The Phlunk's Worldwide Symphony [7] written by Mercury nominated singer-songwriter Lou Rhodes.

Lou Rhodes English musician

Lou Rhodes is an English singer and songwriter from Manchester, now living in Wiltshire. In addition to providing vocals and lyrics for the band Lamb, Rhodes has released four solo albums: Beloved One, Bloom and One Good Thing and theyesandeye. Rhodes has collaborated with 808 State, A Guy Called Gerald, Funkstörung, Pale 3, Sugizo, Plump DJs, Sheila Chandra, Eliza Carthy, Art of Noise, and The Cinematic Orchestra on Ma Fleur and the soundtrack to The Crimson Wing: Mystery of the Flamingos.

Intaferon was a short-lived English new wave duo, consisting of Simon Fellowes and Simon Gillham. They were signed to Chrysalis Records. Their song, "Get Out of London" was featured in the 2001 Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen movie Winning London.

Simon Wolstencroft English drummer

Simon John Wolstencroft is an English rock drummer, best known for playing with The Fall from 1986 to 1997. He also played with early incarnations of The Smiths and The Stone Roses.

Damien Moyal Musical artist

Damien Zev Moyal is a Dutch-American vocalist, lyricist, musician, songwriter and designer. Originally from Amstelveen, North Holland, Netherlands, he grew up in Miami, Florida, where he notably fronted such hardcore punk, metallic hardcore and melodic hardcore bands as Shai Hulud, Morning Again, As Friends Rust, Culture and Bird of Ill Omen. Allied Artists Music Group American record label and music distributor

Allied Artists Music Group (AAMG) is the U.S. based multinational music focused entertainment and record label arm of Allied Artists International, Inc. (AAI), headquartered in Glendale, California. In 1971, AAI's predecessor Allied Artists Pictures Corporation officially formed subsidiary Allied Artists Records. By 1999, Allied Artists Records encompassed numerous imprint labels, including the flagship Allied Artists Records, Allied Artists Music Co., Monogram Records, Vista Records and Brimstone Records. Henry Mazer American conductor

Henry Simon Mazer, was an American and later Taiwanese conductor, recording artist and music educator who was the founding principal conductor and music director of Taipei Philharmonic Orchestra from 1985 until suffering a stroke in February 2001. Prior to his move to Taiwan, he was the conductor and associate conductor of major American symphonies including the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. He contributed greatly to the refinement of the performances of classical music in Taiwan, leading local musicians to gain recognition overseas. There is a cultural center dedicated to him in Taipei.

Shantanu Biswas

Shantanu Biswas was a Bangladeshi dramatist, playwright, stage director, singer-songwriter and composer. He has written and directed several full-length plays between 1975 and 2019, where he performed as an actor in more than sixteen plays. His major successes include Informer (1982), and Julius Ceasar er Shesh Shaat Din (1987).

Walter Rhodes was an American blues musician, who recorded briefly in the late 1920s and was unusual in being a blues accordionist and singer from Mississippi. It was reported that Rhodes may have been the oldest Delta musician recorded. Little is known of his life outside of his recordings.
