The Stratoni mine is an underground, silver-lead-zinc mine located in the Chalkidiki Peninsula in northern Greece. It uses a multi-stage flotation process to extract a lead-silver concentrate and a zinc concentrate. [1]
The mine is located 3 kilometers from Stratoni, Greece, where the loading and port is located, and 100 kilometers from Thessaloniki. [2]

Little Cornwallis Island is one of the Queen Elizabeth Islands in the Canadian Arctic islands in Nunavut, Canada. It is located at 75°30'N 96°30'W, between Cornwallis Island and Bathurst Island in McDougall Sound, and measures 412 km2 (159 sq mi). It is uninhabited.
Siderokausia, in Ottoman Turkish rendered as ﺳﻴﺪر َﻩ ﻗﺴﯽ Sidrekapsï, was a silver and gold mine active in the Byzantine and Ottoman periods, located in the northeastern Chalkidiki peninsula in northern Greece. The settlements of the region are known to this day as Mademochoria. In the Ottoman period, a coin mint was attached to the mine.

The Trepça Mines is a large industrial complex in Kosovo, located 9 km (5.6 mi) northeast of Mitrovica. The mine is located on the southern slopes of the Kopaonik mountain, between the peaks of Crni Vrh and Majdan 1,268 m (4,160 ft), and it is Europe's largest lead-zinc and silver ore mine.
Lisheen Mine is a former lead-zinc-silver mine located between the villages of Moyne and Templetuohy in County Tipperary, Ireland. In the Rathdowney Trend, Lisheen was an underground mine where the Lisheen deposit lies at an average depth of 170 metres below surface. The mine closed in 2015.
Polaris zinc mine was a former underground mine on Little Cornwallis Island in the Canadian territory of Nunavut. The zinc mine was located 1,120 km (700 mi) north of the Arctic Circle, and 96 km (60 mi) north of the community of Resolute. It closed in July 2002 following more than twenty years of zinc production.

Century Mine was a large open cut zinc, lead and silver mine at Lawn Hill, 250 km (160 mi) northwest of Mount Isa in North West Queensland, Australia. It was Australia's largest open pit zinc mine. Discovered by CRA Limited, mining was initiated by Pasminco, continued by Zinifex, then OZ Minerals and then MMG Limited who mined the project until closure. The property is currently owned by New Century Resources whose primary business is tailings reprocessing.

North Korea is naturally abundant in metals such as magnesite, zinc, tungsten, and iron; with magnesite resources of 6 billion tonnes, particularly in the North and South Hamgyong Provinces, as well as the Chagang Province. The Olympias mine is a previously producing gold-silver-lead-zinc mine located in the Halkidiki Peninsula in northern Greece. It was on care and maintenance between 1995-2010 and is currently under redevelopment by Eldorado Gold. Production is targeted in Q1 2017.
The Hosokura mine was one of the largest lead and zinc mines in Japan. The mine was located in the town of Uguisuzawa, Miyagi Prefecture in the Tohoku region of northern Japan, in what is now the city of Kurihara. The mine had production of 26 million tonnes of ore grading 1.59% lead, 4.12% zinc and 12.8 million oz of silver before closing in 1987.

The mines of Laurion are ancient mines located in southern Attica between Thoricus and Cape Sounion, approximately 50 kilometers south of the center Athens, in Greece. The mines are best known for producing silver, but they were also a source of copper and lead. A number of remnants of these mines are still present in the region.
