Stu Segall

Stu Segall is a Boston area-born TV and movie producer and director who is the founder of Stu Segall Productions, a San Diego-based TV production studio. [1]

Segall began his career in 1970, directing sexploitation movies and hard-core pornography, including the famous Insatiable , starring Marilyn Chambers. Eventually, he got work in television. In 1984, Stephen J. Cannell tapped him to produce the TV series Hunter . He opened his San Diego TV studio to film the TV show Silk Stalkings in 1991.

In addition to TV production, his studio also offers hyper-realistic training for military personnel. The company this training is conducted under is Strategic Operations. [2]

Pensacola: Wings of Gold is a syndicated American action/adventure drama series based at the Naval Air Station Pensacola in Pensacola, Florida. Episodes were aired in several countries outside the U.S. including Portugal, France, Sweden, South Africa, Finland, Estonia, The Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Hungary, Romania, Australia and Sri Lanka. Although set in Florida, it was largely filmed in San Diego particularly at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar. Outdoor scenes were filmed in San Diego and MCAS Miramar while indoor scenes were filmed at Stu Segall Studios in San Diego.

18 Wheels of Justice is an American crime drama series that aired from 2000 to 2001 on TNN. It starred Lucky Vanous as federal agent Michael Cates, and G. Gordon Liddy as Jacob Calder, the crime boss Cates was chasing. The episodes followed a format not unlike The Incredible Hulk or The Fugitive or The Rebel, in that the wandering Cates would meet and interact with different people and help them with their particular problems before moving on. The series was distributed by King World Productions, and was filmed at Stu Segall Productions in San Diego.
