Stuart Stokes (born 5 October 1976) is a British track and field athlete competing in the 3000 metres steeplechase and full-time teacher. [1] He competed in the steeplechase at the 2012 Summer Olympics where he finished 35th. [2]

Moses Kiptanui is a Kenyan middle and long distance athlete mostly famous for 3,000 m steeplechase in which he was the number one ranked athlete from 1991 to 1995 and three time IAAF World Champion. Kiptanui was also the first man ever to run 3000m steeplechase in under eight minutes.He's also known for his coaching role in his later years with Tarbert GAA.
Saif Saaeed Shaheen, formerly Stephen Cherono, is a steeplechase runner. He was born in Keiyo, Kenya but now he represents Qatar. He currently holds the world record for 3000 metre steeplechase. He is a two time World Champion in the event. His older brother Abraham Cherono is also a steeplechase runner.

Anthony Famiglietti(nickname: Fam; born November 8, 1978 in Medford, New York) is an American track and field athlete who competes professionally for Skechers Performance and Reckless Running. He was formerly sponsored by Adidas. He has competed for the U.S. in the 3000 meter steeplechase at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games and the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. In December 2019 he ran a World Record treadmill mile of 3:55. He has the first known recorded sub-4 mile ever run on a treadmill. In January 2020 he followed up his mile with a World Record 2 mile run of 8:24 at the Endurance Exchange hosted by USA Triathlon. He is current training to make his 5th Olympic trials and 3rd Olympic team. In Spring 2020 he is hoping to become the 4th human being ever to break 4 minute mile on the track at 40 years old.

Henry Dinwoodey Marsh is a retired runner from the United States, who made four U.S. Olympic teams and represented his native country in the men's 3,000 meter Steeplechase in three Summer Olympics, from 1976 through 1988.
Mahiedine Mekhissi-Benabbad is a retired French professional middle-distance runner of Algerian descent who mainly competed in the 3000 metres steeplechase. He is the only man to win three Olympic steeplechase medals, claiming silver in 2008 and 2012 and bronze in 2016. He also won two bronze medals at the IAAF World Championships in Athletics in 2011 and 2013. Mekhissi-Benabbad earned titles at five consecutive editions of the European Athletics Championships between 2010 and 2018.
