Suburban Tribe was a Finnish alternative rock/metal band. The band is notable for containing the members of two of Finland's best known thrash metal bands, Stone and Airdash. Bassist Janne Joutsenniemi played in the band Stone and guitarist Roope Siren played in Airdash.

In the beginning, the band's name was typed Sub-Urban Tribe, but it was changed to its present shape after a short break in 2001. The band got some publicity from TV series Big Brother. Their song "While the World Awaits" was played as theme song in season 2006. It was announced in March 2011 that the band has decided to disband. [1]

Stone reunited to play a final set of concerts in 2000, but parted ways again soon afterwards. In 2008, Stone made five "reunion"/comeback appearances. They reunited again in March 2013 for select shows in order to promote their new box set. The band has remained active since then, and they have new material in the works.

From Afar is the fourth studio album by Finnish folk metal band Ensiferum, released on 9 September 2009 on Spinefarm Records. It is the band's first album to feature keyboardist Emmi Silvennoinen. The album was produced by Nightwish producer Tero Kinnunen and Victory Songs producer Janne Joutsenniemi. It was mixed by HIM producer Hiili Hiilesmaa. The limited edition of the album includes a cover of Swedish folk rock group Nordman.

No Anaesthesia! is the second studio album by Finnish thrash metal band Stone, released in 1989. The album marked a slight change in sound from the band's self-titled previous album, incorporating progressive and neoclassical elements that Stone would expand on their subsequent albums, and the title track is notable for being the longest song the band ever recorded. No Anaesthesia! was remastered and re-issued in 2003, and again in 2009, when it was bundled with the preceding album in a 2-CD set. This is also the last Stone album to feature guitarist Jiri Jalkanen, who was fired from the band in 1990 and was replaced by Nirri Niiranen.

Colours is the third album by Finnish thrash metal band Stone, released in 1990. This is their first album with Nirri Niiranen, replacing original guitarist Jiri Jalkanen, who had been fired from the band just before the recording sessions started. Colours is considered to be more technical and experimental than Stone's first two albums, continuing the elements of progressive that the band had used on its predecessor No Anaesthesia!, and featuring more complexity and mid-paced tempos, as well as longer songs in length. It was remastered and re-issued by Megamania in 2003. The Japanese version had a redder pigment used on the album cover. An EP was released for the album track "Empty Suit".

Emotional Playground is the fourth and last studio album to date by Finnish thrash metal band Stone, released in 1991. While still retaining thrash and progressive influences, this album saw greater experimentation compared to Stone's previous works. It was the first Stone album that was not produced by Mikko Karmila; instead it was produced by the band themselves.

Stoneage is a compilation album by Finnish thrash metal band Stone that was originally released in 1998. It was rereleased under the title Stoneage 2.0 in 2008 and included the bonus track "Symptom of the Universe", a Black Sabbath cover.

<i>Thalassic</i> 2020 studio album by Ensiferum

Thalassic is the eighth studio album by Finnish folk metal band Ensiferum. It was released on 10 July 2020 through Metal Blade Records. It is the first Ensiferum album to feature new keyboardist and clean vocalist Pekka Montin, who joined the band in February 2020.
