Sudhakar Vitthalrao Kohale (born 1 July 1969) was a member of the 13th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly,from 2014 to 2019,representing the Nagpur South Assembly Constituency. He belongs to the Bharatiya Janata Party [1] [2]
Kohale was a corporator in the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) at the time of election,he then represented the Mhalgi Nagar ward. Kohale defeated sitting MLA Dinanath Padole,of the Nationalist Congress Party and former minister Satish Chaturvedi of the Indian National Congress. Fifteen opponents including Padole lost their deposit. [2] This victory has been described as one busting caste and religious vote bank politics,and a mandate for development. [3] Kohale was chairman of NMC's Water Works Committee. [4]

Sunil Panjabrao Deshmukh is the Member of Legislative Assembly from the constituency of Amravati, Maharashtra, India. He is a member of Indian National Congress (INC). In 2009, he was expelled from the Indian National Congress due to his rebellion in the Maharashtra Vidhan Sabha election, 2009 when he was denied a ticket to contest the election from his Amravati constituency in order to accommodate Mr. Raosaheb Shekhawat, the son of then President of India, Pratibha Patil. He was also the Minister of State for Finance and Planning, Public Works and Energy in the cabinet of the Government of Maharashtra (2004-2009). He was also the guardian minister for Amravati and Bhandara Districts of Vidarbha, Maharashtra from 2004-2009. Additionally, he also served as the ex-officio Vice-Chairman of the Maharashtra State Electricity Board's holding company and as the co-chairman of Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation Ltd.

Devendra Gangadharrao Fadnavis is an Indian politician currently serving as the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra since 30 June 2022, alongside Ajit Pawar. He previously held the position of Chief Minister of Maharashtra from 31 October 2014 to 12 November 2019. From 2019 to 2022, he served as the Leader of the Opposition in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly and was the President of BJP's Maharashtra state unit from 2013 to 2015. Additionally, he held the position of Mayor of Nagpur from 1997 to 2001.
