Sudhakar Sangram Bhalerao,[3] also known as Sudhakar Bhalerao,is an Indian politician who served as Member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly from Udgir Constituency elected in 2009[4] and 2014.[5] He contested in 2024 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Election.[6] He lost election[7] against Nationalist Congress Party Candidate with the Margin of 93,214 votes,Sudhakar Sangram Bhalerao gained 58,824 votes.[8][9]
Bhalerao has been elected as MLA from Udgir constituency multiple times. He served as MLA from Udgir,Maharashtra in 2009 and 2014,[10] representing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) during these terms.
In the 2024 Maharashtra Assembly elections,Bhalerao contested from Udgir constituency representing the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar) - NCP(SP),indicating a change in his political affiliation from BJP to NCP(SP).[11]

Udgir is a reserved constituency (Scheduled Caste) in the Latur district of Maharashtra.[12] The constituency comes under Latur district of Maharashtra State.
Sudhakar Bhalerao improved bad roads in his constituency and he solved the Drinking water problem. Sudhakar Bhalerao has a longstanding reputation for social work in Udgir and the broader Latur district. His initiatives include organizing health camps,supporting educational programs,and promoting rural development schemes. He has worked in collaboration with local NGOs and cooperatives to improve access to basic amenities and agricultural resources for farmers and underprivileged communities. Bhalerao's efforts in infrastructure development,especially in roads,sanitation,and public utilities,have been well received by the public,enhancing his image as a “grassroots leader”in Udgir1 His hands-on approach during public events and community meetings has strengthened his connection with local residents.[15] under his term also improved the Udgir Railway Station platform[16]
