Sultan Osman Sultan Ali Koshin (Somali : Suldaan Cismaan Suldaan Cali Kooshin), is the current general sultan of the Issa Musse clans. His family were the traditional holders of the Issa Musse Sultanate.

Mohamed Hashi Dhamac better known as Gaarriye was a legendary Somali poet and political activist. He belonged to the Sa'ad Musa sub-division of the Habr Awal Isaaq clan.

Abdalla Sabdi is a Somali clan, and subclan of Murusade which is part of the major Hawiye clan. Its members live in Banaadir, Galgaduud and Lower Shebelle.

Sahil is an administrative region in northern Somaliland with the port city of Berbera as its capital. The region has a long coastline facing the Gulf of Aden to the north. Saaxil borders Awdal to the northwest, Maroodi Jeex to the southwest, Togdheer to the south and Sanaag to the east.

Sacmadeeqa

Sacmadeeqa is a landmark in Somali Region which has a monument that identifies the birthplace of Sayid Mohamed. It is located in the Haud region, near the lake of Qoob Fardood. It was created as a form of remembrance of the anti-colonial struggle. It has been described as one of the main tourist sites in the region. The site has a nearby family of nomads who act as custodians who live there. They said that the most frequent visitors to the monument are the Arale Mahad and Ali Gheri, due to the fact that they were the most persistent dervishes. Eric Swayne described Qoob Fardood as being located in the homelands of the Ali Gheri, a tribe whose historical homeland is in the Haud region, stating:

Docmo or Damot is a town in Werder Zone of the Somali Region in Ethiopia. The exact district or woreda of Docmo is Bookh also called Boh. The locality is often incorrectly transliterated in various ways, including Damot by Europeans, or as Domo or Domco by Africans. Docmo is adjacent to the nearby locality of Las Suban, which is slightly north. It is located a few miles southwest of the border of Dharkeyn Genyo. The first stand-off between the main Darwiish army and the British army occurred in June 1901 in the town of Domco after the Darwiish army retreated from Baran in Sool province, formerly known as Nugaal territory and made Docmo their headquarters with 3,000 men being stationed there.

The Issa Musse are divided into four major sub-clans: Mohammed Issa, Adam Issa, Abokor Issa and Idarais Issa. The Issa Musse traditionally consists of coastal, nomadic pastoralist and merchants. This clan are primarily settled in Somaliland, including Maroodi Jeex, Togdheer, Sahil as well as Kenya. The Issa Musse have produced many prominent Somali figures with the Undersecretary General of the United Nations Abdulrahim Abby Farah, the first Somali Prime Minister & second President of Somaliland Muhammad Haji Ibrahim Egal, and the second tallest man in the world Hussein Bisad

Sultan Abdiqadir Abdillahi was the seventh Grand Sultan of the Isaaq Sultanate. He ruled from 1969 to 1975, when he died. He was succeeded by his son, Mahamed Abdiqadir.
