Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi is a member of the ruling family of the Emirate of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates, and the currently appointed Deputy Ruler of Sharjah. [1]

Al Qasimi is a member of the Sharjah Executive Council, President of Sharjah National Oil Company and chairman of Sharjah Media Council. [2]

In December 2021, the ruler of Sharjah appointed Al Qasimi as President of the University of Sharjah. [3]

Personal life

Al Qasimi is married to Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, the daughter of the ruler of Sharjah and current president of the International Publishers Association. [4]

Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi III is an Emirati royal, politician, who serves as the ruler of the Emirate of Ajman and a member of the Federal Supreme Council. He is the 10th ruler of Ajman. Humaid bin Rashid succeeded his late father Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi III on 6 September 1981. He previously served as deputy ruler since 1960.

The Mazari is a tribe of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The Mazari settled throughout the Trucial States but principally in Abu Dhabi. They are considered a subsection of the Bani Yas and formed the majority of the Bedouin component of that federation of tribes.
