Hinduism is the second largest religious affiliation in Pakistan after Islam. While Hinduism was one of the dominant faiths in the region a few centuries back, today Hindus account for only 2.14% of Pakistan's population or about 4.4 million people according to the 2017 Pakistani census. The Umerkot district has the highest percentage of Hindu residents in the country at 52.2%, while Tharparkar district has the most Hindus in absolute numbers at 714,698.

Shahdadkot is the most populated and largest Tehsil of Qambar Shahdadkot District of Sindh, Pakistan. It was named after the town founder Shahdad Khan Khuhawar. It is located around 51 kilometres northwest of Larkana and 34 kilometers north of Qambar. The town is in close proximity to three districts of Balochistan namely Khuzdar, Jhal Magsi and Jaffarabad in the west and north of the district. It is linked on the M8 motorway route between Gwadar and Ratodero.

Religious discrimination in Pakistan is a serious issue for the human rights situation in modern-day Pakistan. Hindus, Christians, Sikhs, Shias, and Ahmadis among other religious minorities often face discrimination and at times are even subjected to violence. In some cases Christian churches and the worshippers themselves have been attacked. Although, there is very little record of this. Khawaja Nazimuddin, the 2nd Prime Minister of Pakistan, stated: "I do not agree that religion is a private affair of the individual nor do I agree that in an Islamic state every citizen has identical rights, no matter what his caste, creed or faith be".
Bajrangi Bhaijaan is a 2015 Indian Hindi-language comedy-drama film co-written and directed by Kabir Khan, based on an original story by screenwriter V. Vijayendra Prasad, and produced by Salman Khan, Rockline Venkatesh and Kabir Khan. Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki is an Indian Hindi-language television romantic drama series that premiered on 7 March 2016 on Colors TV. It is also digitally available on Voot. Produced by Ekta Kapoor under Balaji Telefilms, it stars Kratika Sengar and Sharad Malhotra. It went off air on 27 July 2018.
Nawab Ghaibi Sardar Khan Chandio is a Pakistani politician and tribal chief who served as a member of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh from August 2018 to August 2023. He previously held this position from May 2013 to May 2018. He is the chief of the Chandio tribe.

Mahesh Kumar Malani is a Pakistani politician who had been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from August 2018 till August 2023. He is the first non-Muslim to win a general seat in the National Assembly of Pakistan, 16 years after non-Muslims got the right to vote and contest on general seats of the parliament and provincial assemblies in 2002.
Chand is a 1959 Indian Hindi-language film starring Meena Kumari, Balraj Sahni, Pandari Bai and Manoj Kumar in lead roles. The film is directed by Lekhraj Bhakri and its music is given by Hemant Kumar.
Hima Kohli is a judge of the Supreme Court of India. She was the chief justice of the Telangana High Court, and the first woman judge to hold that office. Prior to that, she served as a judge of the Delhi High Court.
Pushpa Kumari Kohli is the first Hindu woman to become a police officer in Pakistan. She was posted as Assistant sub-inspector of police (ASI) in Sindh province after she passed the provincial competitive examination through Sindh Public Service Commission.
