Sunarso (born 7 November 1963) is a senior banker who currently serves as President Director of Bank Mandiri. Sunarso previously served as Deputy President Director of PT Bank Rakyat from 2015 to October 2017.

Biography

Sunarso earned a Bachelor of Agriculture degree from Bogor Agricultural University in 1988 and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Indonesia in 2002. He also attended various training programs at Melbourne University, Northwestern University, University of Chicago, London Business School, and the University of New South Wales. [1] [2]

Sunarso's career began at Bank Dagang Negara as a credit analyst, then as an Assistant Relationship Manager and Relationship Manager between 1991 and 1996. [3] [2]

In 2018, he was named The Best CEO and Transformative Leader in the category of Corporate Governance and Service by the Sky Media Award. [4]
