Suomiart is the art association of Finnish Artists in Sweden. [1] Established in 1977, [2] the association has over 100 members. [3]
Suomiart runs art exhibitions, courses, excursions and other cultural events in Sweden. [4] it also participates in international cultural projects. Suomiart also arranges a yearly competition called the Artist of the Year in Sweden. It is open for Swedish Finns as well as Finnish and Swedish-speaking Finns artists who live in Sweden. The artist of the year is chosen by a jury.

The total fertility rate was rated at 1.66 in 2020, which is far below the replacement rate of 2.1
The Sweden Democrats or Swedish Democrats is a nationalist and right-wing populist political party in Sweden founded in 1988. The party describes itself as social conservative with a nationalist foundation. The party has been variously characterised by academics, political commentators and the media as national-conservative, anti-immigration, eurosceptic or far-right. Jimmie Åkesson has been party leader since 2005.
Pirkanmaa, also known as Tampere Region in government documents, is a region of Finland. It borders the regions of Satakunta, South Ostrobothnia, Central Finland, Päijät-Häme, Kanta-Häme and Southwest Finland. Most of the water area in the Kokemäki River watershed is located in the Pirkanmaa region, although Lake Vanajavesi is partly in the Kanta-Häme region. The region got its name from Pirkkala, which in the Middle Ages comprised most of present-day Pirkanmaa. Tampere is the regional center and capital of Pirkanmaa, and at the same time the largest city in the region.
Umeå is a city in northeast Sweden. It is the seat of Umeå Municipality and the capital of Västerbotten County.
Finnish Canadians are Canadian citizens of Finnish ancestry or Finns who emigrated to and reside in Canada. According to the 2001 census number over 131,040 Canadians claim Finnish ancestry. Finns started coming to Canada in the early 1880s, and in much larger numbers in the early 20th century and well into the mid-20th century. Finnish immigration to Canada was often a direct result of economic depressions and wars, or in the aftermath of major conflicts like the Finnish Civil War. Canada was often chosen as a final destination because of the similarity in climate and natural conditions, while employment in logging or homesteading attracted landless farmers in the early 20th century. Migratory movements of Finns between Canada and the United States was very common as well.
Sweden has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 60 times since making its debut in 1958, missing only three contests since then. Since 1959, the Swedish entry has been chosen through an annual televised competition, known since 1967 as Melodifestivalen. At the 1997 contest, Sweden was one of the first five countries to adopt televoting. Sweden is the only country to have hosted the event in five different decades, three times in Stockholm, twice in Malmö and once in Gothenburg (1985).
Tim Sparv is a Finnish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for HJK in the Veikkausliiga and is the captain of Finland's national football team. Sparv was born in Oravais, and started his football career in Norrvalla FF youth team before moving to Southampton's junior organisation. He began his senior club career playing for Halmstad, before signing with Groningen in 2010.

Islam in Sweden refers to the practice of Islam in Sweden, as well as historical ties between Sweden and the Islamic world. Viking contact with Islam dating back to the 7th–10th centuries, when the Vikings were trading with the Muslims, but more recently, immigration from predominantly Muslim countries has impacted demography in Sweden.
Lukáš Hrádecký is a Finnish footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen and the Finland national team. Born in Bratislava, present-day Slovakia, Hrádecký was raised in the Finnish city of Turku from the age of one. He began his senior club career playing for TPS, before signing with Esbjerg fB at age 19 in 2009. After winning his first trophy, the Danish 1st Division, during his third season in Denmark, he helped Esbjerg win the Danish Cup in 2013. Hrádecký was named Finnish Footballer of the Year by the Football Association of Finland three years in a row between 2016 and 2018.
The Nordic Resistance Movement is a Pan-Nordic neo-Nazi movement and in Sweden a political party. It is established in Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark, and also has members in Iceland. It has been banned in Finland since 2019. The NRM has been described as a terrorist organization due to their aim of abolishing democracy along with their paramilitary activities, weapons caches and connections to proscribed terrorist organizations such as the Russian Imperial Movement and National Action.
Immigration to Sweden is the process by which people migrate to Sweden to reside in the country. Many, but not all, become Swedish citizens. The economic, social, and political aspects of immigration have caused some controversy regarding ethnicity, economic benefits, jobs for non-immigrants, settlement patterns, impact on upward social mobility, crime, and voting behaviour.

Lorine Zineb Nora Talhaoui, known professionally as Loreen is a Swedish pop singer, songwriter and record producer. Representing Sweden, she won the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, with her entry "Euphoria". The song reached number one in several countries, including Germany and Sweden. At the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö, she sang as the opening act in the first semi-final and as the interval act in the grand final.
Ihme Contemporary Art Festival is a yearly festival for contemporary art produced by Pro Arte Foundation Finland. The festival includes a public work of art, a varied programme of events around the artwork, and educational art projects. Ihme Project, commissioned by the Festival, is to be realised in the public realm. A varied Festival programme ranging from artist talks to film screenings opens up the Ihme Project for discussion and debate and is free to attend. Ihme also offers an art education programme, Ihme School, with various activities. The word "ihme" means a wonder or a miracle in Finnish.
Hasan Fuat Sari is a Finnish sculptor and painter of Turkish descent. He was born in Tarsus in 1953, and lives and works in Turku, Finland since 1980.
Anti-Finnish sentiment is the hostility, prejudice, discrimination or racism directed against Finns, Finland, or Finnish culture.
The Statement Festival is a music festival in Sweden for women, non-binary and transgender persons. It took first place in Gothenburg in 31 August to 1 September 2018 and aims to be held annually. The organisers stated that the festival would be held "without men", in practice meaning men who are not transgender, as neither visitors nor artists. The festival organisers use the gender studies term cis men. The festival's backstage area was jokingly dubbed a "man-pen" by organisers, in reference to male technicians, managers and members of artists' entourages who would generally reside there. For visitors there is an 18 year age limit.
