Suraj Venjaramoodu Indian actor and comedian

Suraj Vasudevan, professionally credited as Suraj Venjaramoodu, is an Indian film actor, comedian, impressionist, and television presenter, who appears in Malayalam films, television and stage. He has acted in more than 250 films. Throughout 2000s and towards mid-2010s, he played comedic roles in numerous films and has won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Comedian three times. In his later career, he found success in playing character and leading roles. In 2014, Suraj won the National Film Award for Best Actor for his lead role in Perariyathavar. The Sadgop sub-caste is a Bengali Hindu Yadav (Gopa) caste, found in West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand and parts of Bihar state in India. Traditionally they are engaged in dairy-farming and cultivation. The Sun's Seventh Horse is a 1952 Hindi meta fiction novel by Dharamvir Bharati, one of the pioneers of modern Hindi literature. The novel presents three related narratives about three women: Jamuna, Sati, and Lily. It is narrated by Manik Mulla, who is also a character in the novel, to his friends over seven afternoons, in the style of Hitopadesha or Panchatantra. The novel looks at the disappointments in love faced by these women and how they cope with their lives. The self-reflexive story is also known for its subversive take on the "Devdas" syndrome. The Sun's Seventh Horse was published after Bharati's debut novel Gunahon Ka Devta (1949), which subsequently became a classic.

Suraj Mandal is an Indian politician and a member of the 10th Lok Sabha. Mandal was elected to the Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Parliament of India from Godda, Bihar in the 1991 Indian general election as a member of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha by defeating a sitting member of Bharatiya Janata Party leader Janardan Yadav. Mandal was MLA in Bihar Vidhan Sabha from 1980 to 1991.
