Suren Kerselyan is a former Vice Premier and Minister for Labour,Employment and Social Security of Abkhazia. Kerselyan was appointed as Vice Premier and Labour Minister on 15 October 2014 by newly elected president Raul Khajimba,in the cabinet of Prime Minister Beslan Butba. [1] [2] After Butba was replaced as prime minister by Artur Mikvabia,Kerselyan was replaced as Vice Premier by Dmitri Serikov on 8 April 2015. [3]
On 23 August 2016,Kerselyan was also replaced as Labour Minister,by Pension Head Ruslan Ajba,in the new cabinet of Prime Minister Beslan Bartsits. [4]
The prime minister of Abkhazia is the de facto head of government of the partially recognized Republic of Abkhazia,that is de jure part of Georgia.
The office of Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia was created on 17 May 1993,during the 1992–1993 war with Georgia. Empirical data nevertheless show that Abkhazia's Foreign Ministry also enacts diplomatic relations,such as the sending of diplomatic notes,with various countries across the world,including Nauru,Vanuatu,Venezuela,Nicaragua,and Syria. Beslan Butba is a businessman and a former Prime Minister of Abkhazia. He owns Abkhazia's only private television station Abaza TV and is the chairman of the Party of the Economic Development of Abkhazia. Butba was an unsuccessful candidate in the December 2009 presidential election.

The Minister for Internal Affairs holds a ministerial position in the government of the Republic of Abkhazia. The post existed in the Soviet period within the Council of Ministers of the Abkhaz Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic,and since then has been occupied by 10 politicians,of whom three have occupied it twice. The current Minister is Aslan Kobakhia.

Rauf Aslanovich Tsimtsba was the third Minister for Taxes and Fees of Abkhazia,serving between 2011 and 2016 in the Governments of President Bagapsh,President Ankvab and President Khajimba. Tsimtsba was originally appointed on 4 April 2011 by Sergei Bagapsh to succeed Vakhtang Pipia,who had been appointed Vice Premier on 30 March. Before that,Tsimtsba had headed the Department for the Taxation of Legal Entities within the ministry. Following the Death of Bagapsh one month later and the election of Alexander Ankvab,Tsimtsba was re-appointed on 11 October.
Timur Eshba is a former Minister for Agriculture of Abkhazia. He was appointed by President Raul Khajimba on 8 April 2015 into the cabinet of new prime minister Artur Mikvabia,succeeding Rafik Otyrba. On 24 August 2016,after Mikvabia had been replaced as prime minister by Beslan Bartsits,Eshba was replaced by veteran politician Daur Tarba.
Dmitri Serikov is a Vice Premier and the Minister for Finance of Abkhazia.
David Gunba is a former Minister for Health of Abkhazia. Gunba was appointed on 15 October 2014 by newly elected President Raul Khajimba. Shortly thereafter,Gunba confessed to Khajimba and Prime Minister Beslan Butba that he did not feel up to the task. On 28 October 2014,Khajimba appointed Adzor Goov in his stead.
Rafik Otyrba is a former Minister for Agriculture of Abkhazia. Otyrba was appointed on 15 October 2014 by newly elected President Raul Khajimba. On 8 April 2015,following the resignation of Prime Minister Beslan Butba,Otyrba was replaced by Timur Eshba.
Nikolai Vladimirovich Achba is a former Minister for Economy of Abkhazia. Achba was appointed on 15 October 2014 by newly elected President Raul Khajimba. On 8 April 2015,following the resignation of Prime Minister Beslan Butba,Achba was replaced by Adgur Ardzinba. Instead,Achba was appointed Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for State Property and Privatisation on 21 May.
Viktor Khilchevski is a former Vice Premier and Minister for Energy,Transport and Communications of Abkhazia. Khilchevski was appointed on 15 October 2014 by newly elected President Raul Khajimba. On 30 March 2015,following the resignation of Prime Minister Beslan Butba,Khajimba abolished the Ministry for Energy,Transport and Communications and reduced the number of Vice Premiers from two to one. On 8 April,Khilchevski was replaced as Vice Premier by Dmitri Serikov.
Erik Rshtuni was Chairman of the State Committee for Standards,Consumer and Technical Supervision of Abkhazia in the Government of President Khajimba from 2014 until 2016. Rshtuni was first appointed on 23 October 2014,after Raul Khajimba's election,who created the State Committee out of the State Administration for Standards,Metrology and Certification. Rshtuni served in the cabinets of Prime Ministers Beslan Butba and Artur Mikvabia,but he was replaced by Akhra Pachkoria on 1 November 2016,following the appointment of Beslan Bartsits as Prime Minister.
Ruslan Ajba is the current Minister for Labour,Employment and Social Security of Abkhazia.
Akhra Pachkoria is the current Chairman of the State Committee for Standards,Consumer and Technical Supervision of Abkhazia. Pachkoria was appointed on 1 November 2016 into the cabinet of newly appointed Prime Minister Beslan Bartsits.
