Mahabali Singh Kushwaha(born 20 April 1955) is an Indian politician belonging to Bhabua, Kaimur district, Bihar. He was a member of the Indian Parliament, representing Karakat.
Rashtriya Lok Samta Party was a political party in India led by Upendra Kushwaha. It was launched on 3 March 2013 and was based in the state of Bihar. The party came into existence as a result of a feud between Nitish Kumar and Upendra Kushwaha, after which Kushwaha left The Nitish Kumar lead Janata Dal (United) and formed his own party. On 20 February 2023, Kushwaha resigned from all positions in Janata Dal (United) and formed his own party called Rashtriya Lok Morcha due to his political problems with JD(U) and Nitish Kumar.
Satyadev Kushwaha is an Indian politician who is a leader of Janata Dal (United) party and a former member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly. He was elected to the assembly from Kurtha in Arwal district. In 2015 Bihar Legislative Assembly Elections he defeated Ashok Kumar Verma of Rashtriya Lok Samata Party.

The Luv-Kush equation is a political term used in the context of the politics of Bihar, to denote the alliance of the agricultural Kurmi and the Koeri caste, which was assumed to be approximately 15% of the state's population The alliance of these two caste groups has remained the support base of Nitish Kumar, as against the MY equation of Lalu Prasad Yadav, which constitutes Muslims and the Yadavs. Caste consciousness and the quest for political representation largely drive the politics of Bihar. The political alliance of the Koeri and the Kurmi castes, termed the "Luv-Kush equation" was formed when a massive Kurmi Chetna Rally was organised by members of the Kurmi community in 1994 against the alleged casteist politics of Lalu Yadav, who was blamed by contemporary community leaders for promoting Yadavs in politics and administration.
Rajeev Kumar Singh is a Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) representing Tarapur constituency in the Bihar Legislative Assembly in India. He is a member of Janata Dal (United). He has been elected as the MLA on 2 November 2021. Singh got the ticket from Janata Dal (United) amidst the confusion over allocation of Tarapur constituency to Rohit Chaudhary, the younger brother of leader of opposition in Bihar Legislative Council, Samrat Chaudhary. The Tarapur constituency was the stronghold of Shakuni Choudhury, who had influence over Kushwaha voters, who are dominant in this assembly constituency. However, Rajiv Kumar Singh, himself a Kushwaha, was able to defeat his nearest rival in the bypolls of 2021.
Manoj Singh Kushwaha is a former minister of Bihar. Kushwaha was the Minor Water Resources minister in the Jitan Ram Manjhi cabinet in 2014–15. He contested from the Kurhani Assembly constituency in February 2005, November 2005 and 2010 legislative assembly elections, and was victorious.

Ramsewak Singh is an Indian politician and a member of the Janata Dal (United) political party. He served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) in Bihar Legislative Assembly for four consecutive terms. Singh, who represented the Hathua Assembly constituency, became a minister for the first time in the Nitish government in 2019. Prior to this, he had held the post of Chief Whip of the ruling JD(U) for two terms. He is a resident of Asnand Tola village of Uchkagaon block. Kushwaha is a surname used by people of Koeri caste in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. The Kushwahas are also known as Maurya, Shakya, Saini in various parts of north India. As per one opinion, the Kushwaha surname is also common among members of Kachhi caste, who later merged with the Koeris to become a single homogeneous community. They are a dominant OBC community in the state of Bihar.

Ravindra Singh also known as Ravindra Singh Kushwaha is an Indian politician based in Bihar, who was elected to Bihar Legislative Assembly twice from Arwal Assembly constituency. Singh was a member of Janata Dal and later became a member of Rashtriya Janata Dal. He is considered as one of the close accomplice of former Bihar Chief Minister, Lalu Prasad Yadav. Singh hails from communist background and before joining politics, he was a member of armed naxalite organisations active in the Bihar's red corridor.
Suryadev Singh is a former Indian politician based in Bihar, who was elected to Bihar Legislative Assembly twice from Bikramganj Assembly constituency of Rohtas district. He was first elected to Bihar Legislative Assembly as the candidate of Indian People's Front in 1990 Bihar Legislative Assembly election. Later, he defected to Rashtriya Janata Dal and in a run up to 1995 Bihar Legislative Assembly election, he was again elected to Bihar Legislative Assembly, this time, on the symbol of Rashtriya Janata Dal. Before his retirement from politics, following his conviction in a murder case, he was a member of Janata Dal (United). The Bikramganj Assembly constituency ceased to exist after 2005, after the delimitation of constituencies.
Sudhanshu Shekhar is an Indian politician based in Bihar, who has served as member of Bihar Legislative Assembly for two terms. Shekhar was elected to Bihar Legislative Assembly first in the year 2016, in a bypoll conducted for the Harlakhi Assembly constituency in Madhubani district of Bihar. In this bypoll, which followed the death of incumbent legislator from Harlakhi constituency, Basant Kushwaha, he defeated Mohammad Shabbir of Indian National Congress. This was followed by his second victory in 2020 Bihar Legislative Assembly elections, in which he retained this seat. Shekhar is the son of Rashtriya Lok Samata Party politician Basant Kushwaha.
