Henry formerly served as the Attorney General of Oklahoma from 1986 to 1991,before resigning early in his second term to become the dean of the Oklahoma City University School of Law,where he remained until 1994. President Bill Clinton appointed Henry as a United States circuit judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit,a position he held until he resigned in 2010 to return to Oklahoma City University as president. He retired as President of Oklahoma City University in 2018,and has since worked as an attorney specializing in mediation,moot courts,and appellate advocacy.

Noma D. Gurich is an American attorney and jurist who is serving as an associate justice of the Oklahoma Supreme Court. Gurich was appointed the State's highest court by Governor Brad Henry in 2010 and assumed office on February 15,2011. Gurich was appointed to the Court following the death of long-time Justice Marian P. Opala. Gurich is the third woman in state history after Alma Wilson and Yvonne Kauger to be appointed to the Supreme Court.

Robert A. Ricks —known as Bob Ricks and "Backdraft Bob" —is an American law enforcement agent and politician from Texas and Oklahoma. He has worked for the Federal Bureau of Investigation,the Governor of Oklahoma and in local law enforcement. He is best known as the FBI Assistant Special Agent in Charge during the 1993 Waco Siege or as FBI Special Agent in Charge during the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing investigation.
Nancy Coats-Ashley was the first female lawyer for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in the five state area consisting of Texas,Missouri,Arkansas,Kansas and Oklahoma. She also served as a District Court Judge for Oklahoma County beginning in 1995 and ending in 2004 with her retirement. During that time she started the Mental Health Court of Oklahoma County,one of the first courts of its kind in the Southwest. Coats-Ashley served as President of the Oklahoma Federal Bar Association,the Oklahoma Bar Foundation and the William J. Holloway Jr. American Inn of Court and was appointed by former Governor of Oklahoma,Brad Henry to serve as a member of the Oklahoma Forensic Review Board. Coats-Ashley was inducted into the Oklahoma Women's Hall of Fame in 2005 for her work as a pioneer in her field.
Samuel W. Hayes (1875–1941) was born in Arkansas,and moved to Texas with his parents when he was a small child. He completed his basic education in Texas,then attended the University of Virginia. He apparently did not graduate,but his college experience sufficed to qualify him as a school teacher. He spent the next three years teaching in the community of Ryan in the Chickasaw Nation,then part of the Indian Territory. He also began studying law in a local law office and was admitted to the Territorial Bar in 1899.
