Susan Brimer Loving (born March 23,1950) was Oklahoma's first female attorney general. She was appointed in 1991 after serving as both first assistant attorney general and chief of legal services in the Office of the Attorney General. [1]
Loving attended the University of Oklahoma for her undergraduate and law degrees and was appointed to the office of Attorney General when Robert Henry left to become dean of the Oklahoma City University School of Law. [2]
Since leaving office,Loving served as managing partner of Lester,Loving and Davies law firm and was a member of the Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board for eight years,as an appointee of Governor Brad Henry.[ citation needed ]

Holloway Jr. American Inn of Court and was appointed by former Governor of Oklahoma,Brad Henry to serve as a member of the Oklahoma Forensic Review Board. Coats-Ashley was inducted into the Oklahoma Women's Hall of Fame in 2005 for her work as a pioneer in her field.
Samuel W. Hayes (1875–1941) was born in Arkansas,and moved to Texas with his parents when he was a small child. He completed his basic education in Texas,then attended the University of Virginia. He apparently did not graduate,but his college experience sufficed to qualify him as a school teacher. He spent the next three years teaching in the community of Ryan in the Chickasaw Nation,then part of the Indian Territory. He also began studying law in a local law office and was admitted to the Territorial Bar in 1899.
