Barbara Ann Underhill is a Canadian former pair skater. With partner Paul Martini, she is the 1984 World champion, the 1979–1983 Canadian national champion, and the 1978 World Junior champion. They represented Canada at the 1980 Winter Olympics, where they placed 9th, and at the 1984 Winter Olympics, where they placed 7th. In 2009, she was named to the World Figure Skating Hall of Fame.

The U.S. Figure Skating Championships is an annual figure skating competition organized by the United States Figure Skating Association. In addition to determining the national champions, the event was used to determine the U.S. teams for the World Figure Skating Championships and the Four Continents Championships. Medals were awarded in four colors: gold (first), silver (second), bronze (third), and pewter (fourth) in five disciplines – men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, ice dancing, and compulsory figures (mixed) – across three levels: senior, junior, and novice. The 1999 Championships took place on February 7–14, 1999 at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The 2008 United States Figure Skating Championships was the figure skating national championship to determine the national champions of the United States for the 2007–08 season. She is a ten-time Turkish medalist.She represented Turkey at the Netherlands 2004 World Junior Figure Skating Championships and placed 46th, at the Germany 2004 Pokal der Blauen Schwerter Chemnitz ISU Junior Grand Prix in Germany and placed 37th place, at the 7th European Youth Olympic Festival were only held in junior single skating categories in Monthey, Switzerland, between January 22 and January 29 Youth Olympic Winter games and placed 22nd place, at the 2006 World Junior Figure Skating Championships in Ljubliana and placed 25th place.
