Mahesh Babu is an Indian actor and producer known for his work in Telugu cinema. He first appeared in the 1979 film Needa when he was four years old. He continued to perform as a child actor in several films, most of which featured his father Krishna. Following his role as the titular protagonist in Balachandrudu (1990) while still a child, his career went on hiatus so he could concentrate on his education until taking on his first lead role as an adult in the 1999 film Raja Kumarudu, for which he won the Nandi Award for Best Male Debut. Afterwards, his career stagnated until successes like Murari (2001), Okkadu (2003) and Athadu (2005) brought him fame. In 2006, he played a gangster in the Puri Jagannadh-directed action-thriller Pokiri. The film became the highest-grossing Telugu film of all time, and according to Vogue India, cemented Babu's reputation as a "superstar".
Megha Akash is an Indian actress who predominantly appears in Tamil and Telugu films. She made her acting debut with the Telugu film Lie (2017). She made her Tamil film debut with Petta and Hindi film debut with Satellite Shankar, both in 2019. She has also appeared in Raja Raja Chora (2021) and Dear Megha (2021).

Chal Mohan Ranga is a 2018 Indian Telugu-language romantic comedy film directed by Krishna Chaitanya and produced by Sudhakar Reddy along with Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram Srinivas. The film was released on 5 April 2018 to decent reviews praising the performances, music, comedy and criticized the story-less and flat narration. Finally the film commercially failed at the box-office. Lissy made her comeback with this film in supporting roles, after a 27-year hiatus.

Dear Megha is a 2021 Indian Telugu-language romantic drama film directed by Sushanth Reddy. Produced by Arjun Dasyan under Vedaansh Creative Works, the film stars Megha Akash, Adith Arun and Arjun Somayajula. A remake of 2020 Kannada film Dia, the plot follows the triangular love story. The film was released on 3 September 2021.

Ravanasura is a 2023 Indian Telugu language psychological action thriller film directed by Sudheer Varma from a story written by Srikanth Vissa. It is an official adaptation of the 2019 Bengali thriller Vinci Da. It has an ensemble cast featuring Ravi Teja, Jayaram, Sushanth, Anu Emmanuel, Faria Abdullah, Megha Akash, Daksha Nagarkar and Pujita Ponnada.
